  • If you're a big runner then these are a must buy

I'm a runner but not overweight (24.9 BMI) - should i still consider?

      • you should consider gaining some weight

    • Or cyclist

    • I use a single earbud (right side normally). I see no reason for another device - can absolutely hear everything going on around me.

    • I actually prefer to run without any music. Sometimes I wear my AirPods Pro but find it irritating and I am not as in tune with my surroundings.

    • Take a look at the Creative Outlier range.
I have a set of the Outlier pro plus and have been very happy with them swimming.
Have yet to use them on a run.
On sale at the moment plus an extra 15% for March.

      • Thanks, I've returned 3 pairs of Soundpeats Runfree to Amazon and been looking for a decently priced alternative

  • +2

in my opinion, huge difference in sound quality between OpenRun Pro 1 (this deal) and OpenRun Pro 2 ((definitely better quality)

    • +1

      OpenRun Pro 2
Gee rrp almoat $400 i dont believe it worths that much, this brand probably trying to be apple

      • My guess is OpenRun Pro 2 discounts appear around Black Friday.

    • How is the sound quality on these? I've been wearing Bose QC35s and running which can be bulky at times.

      • +2

Not even in the same league.

If sound quality is important to you then consider the pro 2, it's better for music etc but still not in the same league. Not even close.

bro, no one running with full headset can, its weird and make our ear sweaty

      • Surprisingly good.

      • The sweat would ruin your paddings quickly

I agree open run 2 i got for $238 well worth it and far better side by side https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/898571 tested both in JB before buying

  • I have open run pro 1 pro for gym, it’s great. Volume could be louder but

  • How are these for Teams call? Considering these for work, as my headphones mess up my hair

    • I use both for work calls, they do the job with no complaints from colleagues

    • There’s the opencomm variant with the boom mic if u want a better voice option. (Not sure if any deals on it atm)

  • 2 questions

How do you know which size to get?

Can I wear these to swim?

  • +3

Beware, OpenRun Pro 1 bone conduction made my ears itch like crazy, while OpenRun Pro 2 reduced the bone conduction and made the speakers bigger and louder, no irritation and clearer sound quality. Night and day difference.

    • +2

Yeah, they arent pure bone conduction sound is better and more comfy too. Pro 1 has no speakers jsut bone conduction

I went to Jbhifi this morning planning to price match 99bikes. As I was about to speak to the worker I googled to get the link and found them elsewhere for $150 at a store called CEX and after checking with his manager he was happy to price match!

    • +4

You found a sucker! CEX sell used stuff.

  • I really want know how Xiaomi bone conductor headphones compare to these because they're like a quarter of the price. I might take the risk and try them.

    • I just bought some from the link posted above with a new Ali account, only cost $4.50 delivered. Worth a try. Good reviews and wouldn’t be surprise if it is 95% as good as the Shokz.
