Brentsbits - USB OTG Cables - $2.45 Each

230

Hey guys, me again, just had the shipment of USB OTG Cables come in. They are selling for $2.45 each including shipping as always.

Because of eBay shenanigans I can only list 40 at a time, so if it runs out just post and I will put another one up :-)

Any problems let me know.

EDIT: Item Link updated to new listing of another 40. If this one runs out I have another 20 to list as well. No idea why eBay is doing this to me :-(

EDIT 2: Link updated again for the final amount I have of these in stock.

  • Now, this is a good price, thanks champ !

    • Enjoy

I see many for $1 so not a great bargain really

Australian stock = arrive in a week
China stock = arrive in 3-4+

You decide if that is worth the extra $1.50 (not to mention supporting Aussie sellers).

      • nvm…

      • fo sho

      • Depends how urgently you need it. If you need it now, get the Aussie stock. If it's something you're just going to put away in your drawer for that rainy day when you actually need it, you can wait a few weeks.

  • Just ordered one but not sure if it even works on an S3 haha

Guess its in preparation for the next nexus tablet.

  • Yeah not really a bargain as there are lots of $1 inc post and the same one (going of the pic) for $1.31 (also inc post) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Micro-USB-OTG-Host-Cable-Adapter-…

These (listed in the deal) ship from AUST so may save a few days if your in a hurry as other come from OS.

    • I did get a couple el-cheapo ones, from meritline, I think.
They were just under $1 from memory.

But so far, 1 has fallen apart, ie. the casing just came apart.
      One of the latches broke.

      These ones look for sturdy.

      [Edit]
Ooops. My mistake. The ones I got were mini to micro converters.
      Ignore comment.

  • ebay title states micro-usb but description states mini-usb.

    • +1

I will change that, they are definitely micro

      • Is this just clearance product? I can't see much listed from you on ebay. I'm actually after mini ones.

        • +1

Nope, not just a clearance product, these are my regular prices and I will be getting 500 more of the micro OTG cables sometime this week. I will see if I can source any mini ones.

  • I understand the Rep is trying to promote an Australian business and that good but isn’t this just advertising ?

There’s no mention of a discount (was $5 now $2 etc) and it’s not the cheapest price even on the same site it’s sold on !

So how is it a bargain or special deal ?

Can I put all my eBay stuff on Ozbargain as well ?? I have an ABN what’s the rule here ?

    • +1

cheapest price in AUS makes this a bargain, what are you talking about…? lol

    • +6

This has been covered in my previous postings. The consensus seemed to be that it's a good price for a locally stocked and shipped product. Just cause it's my normal price doesn't make it not a bargain.

There is no requirement (or none has been pointed out to me by the mods) for it to be a discounted from from one price down to another, just that it's a good deal, which for a locally stocked product this is :-)

  • Pleas confirm the USB connector? Picture is of a micro USB (for phones), but description says mini USB (tablets usually).

Mini is on the left, micro on the right…

    • I bought one from HK that looks exactly the same, and it is micro.

    • +1

It's definitely a micro usb, I have updated the listing, my apologies. Might teach me to proof read :-)

  • Thanks for the deal! Bought 3!

    • You are most welcome

  • What is the function of this adapter?

  • +1

    works with nexus7?

    if so I will purchase

    • +1

You'll need the Nexus Media Importer app to access the external storage, but yeah it should work fine.

  • purchased one :)

  • Do you think this would work on a kindle touch. keyboard input?

    • It should be just for the quick googling I have done. In this particular case though, it's caveat emptor, I don't have a kindle touch to test on so I can't tell you for sure.

  • Out of stock.

  • EXPIRED

  • Wakeup and re-list mate, you should have about 100-200 items on the ebay portal so you can get ozbargained:P

    • There's plenty back in stock now :-) and I did have 100 at the time. I think I have about 400 or so left, plus mini ones as well.

  • second time i tried to buy this to find expired

  • Is this supposed to be so you can plug in say a USB stick into your phone and have it recognized as external storage?

    • Yes. And you can also plug in a mouse (wired or wireless), or keyboard. There's also potential for other devices.

  • Might teach me to proof read

    Apparently not:-

    "Brand New USB OTG Cable
Connect your cellphone / tablet Mini-USB port to a USB
    Male Micro-USB to Female USB
    Light and portable
    Plug-and-Use Support
Compatible with Tablets and Cellphone with Mini-USB ports
    length:about 6.0cm"

    • I am Brent's total mortification

  • Brentsbits sounds kind of risque.

    • I do love me a double entendre

  • To all those who ordered, I have sent an email but let me apologise for taking until yesterday and today to get everything shipped. I had an issue with my label printer that I use to print my shipping labels. Everything is sorted out now but it caused a delay of a few days.

Just thought I'd publicly acknowledge the delay and make my apologies. PM or message me if there are any problems.

    Cheers
