    Order shipped. With the price of $30, these so called lux brands are now just China bulk manufactured trash. Well at least a lesson is learnt never buy these brands again. Kudo to this finding

    RayBan Hexagonal Titanium Polarised are on the way. I placed that order after the first two Prada, which have not shipped yet. But the RB are the pick of the bunch anyway given they are polarise and over $600 RRP. Thanks for the deal OP.

    Raybans have been made in China for a long time. Myer wouldn't deliver fakes surely so don't worry.
    Deflation in all this plastic stuff but inflation in food, insurance and school fees. The trend is still in place.

      Ray-Ban Titanium range are made in Japan. Ridiculous RRP $600+ probably means they sell very few and now need to discount.

      I bought some Persol a while ago, still made in Italy, but I noticed it no longer said 'hand made'.

      From the Luxottica range the only brands I feel are worth a premium are Maui Jim and Persol, still seem to be good quality and lenses are excellent.

    same .my rayben tracking origin from Dongguan China- the most famous “manufacturing town” in southern China, just next to HK. It says from the Luxottica warehouse. Expecting my $30 China-made sunglasses base with rayben logo on it. Yeah! Happy!

      As of 4am Wednesday, my Ray-Ban are at ‘Clearance processing complete’. They arrived at Sydney DHL facility Tuesday. So should be delivered any day now.

    Mine also got returned to the sender as of at 2.22pm on 3 Apr 2025. Checked with DHL and it said it was requested by the sender. Now ringing Myer to see why. I can't believe they dishonored the order in this manner.

      Yeah it’s not right. No update at all and still have our funds. To go to the trouble of recalling the shipment after the order was honoured and about to be delivered is a disgrace especially from a behemoth like Luxoticca who can easily eat the loss and maintain goodwill.

      Myer operator sent enquiry to supplier, Luxotica in this case, and to see why. Will come to update once hear from them. Will submit complaint to Fair trading if it is going to be dishonored. They had the stock and already sent it out. it is clearly violation of established contract.

    Just got off a chat with Myer and they said they have experienced a technical issue and there is an ongoing investigation, and they will have an answer by early next week.

    I pressed back saying are they honoring the price i paid for my pair and they replied "yes we will honor you the price as this is still on the way and a error occurred on our end'

    Screenshotted as proof to press back if they dont but ultimate hopium right now that people will still get their orders!

    Speaking with chat and they have agreed to honor the price and will contact all affected customers by email by the end of this week with an update with their investigation.

        I went onto Myer live chat, they mentioned that the tracking was broken. Might explain why some are getting their sunglasses even though the tracking is stuck at the 'Shipment information received' stage.

    In the same boat as a lot of others with my order status sitting at Shipment information received…. I called Myer to see if there was any different response and after putting me on hold she came back with the same (obviously standard) response of Myer investigating with Sunglass Hut and an email would come out shortly — I ordered just the Rayban Tortoise Sunglasses as the Prada in my cart had sold out before I could make payment. Very piss poor management by Myer in my opinion. 10 days out and no further contact other than the congratulations your order is ready for delivery one.

    Perhaps it is worth contacting Sunglass Hut directly and asking wtf is going on. It is not acceptable to go this long without any updates when the order was already returned to shipper over a week ago. To be on the brink of delivery and then have that happen, and no updates whatsoever, is unacceptable.
