Wow, seems VERY cheeky that you weren't given even an OPTION for a full refund? They are simply sending you something you didn't order? What if you detested this particular beer. I don't often say this but Craft Cartel just continue to disappoint. There is something seriously wrong with the way they operate their business. And I feel like the lack of communication in here with fellow ozbargainers since the sale went live from Cartel's management is disgraceful.
Yeah no other contact I can find. It is a bit strange for sure, hopefully these replacements are alright.

And just FYI, I haven't received any notification of shipping either but a ton of advertising.

As far as lagers go tastes alright, reasonably bitter. It isn't a watery / thin lager.
Think I spotted some small floaties but went down fine
Wtf? I just got delivered 3 cases of Sydney beer co mid 3.5%
Preservative free, with no nasties, this lager has a light hopped finish and delicious melon peach aroma. 4.5% ABV, 15IBU – enjoyed in a 330ml bottle, can and on tap.
This is what’s in the description on their website which I was ok
Best before date Jan 23 2025 so that’s one positive

Same in Sydney… Just poured one to see it there is anything nasty looking but looks ok - not the best tasting lager but doesn't seem funky - added ice for sake of it not being chilled….

There is clearly a big stuff up here… start explaining and come clean.
anyone waiting for delivery today the couriers please site is up to date tracking, the shippit site isnt, mine had been delivered & was sitting outside. I only realised by checking the couriers please site (difference reference no which is in one of the emails), no signature, they just left it without notification / calling at the door
Also just got the mid strength, which I wouldn't have bothered with at any price. Their email specifically linked to the substitute 4.5% lager and I was ok with that. This on the other hand is not ok and a serious caution against dealing with them in future. Will see how they respond.

I just got bait and switched for mid strength with no option a refund.
They first offered a 50% refund but then did the right thing and refunded. All's well that ends well, no complaints. I genuinely have no use for the mid strength and lament the waste of delivery cost, but it's the right ending.
Two of three slabs delivered. Other is stuck on processing at facility.
Took the 50% refund. The mid 3.5% is watery but $22.50 for 3 slabs I’ll drink them.
My 3 slabs came. Beer kinda explodes out the top when opening it, resulting in having to drink a few mouthfuls as it overflows.
But hey, it's nice beer, and 72 beers for $55 is awesome value

Disappointing for those who got the bait and switch treatment. Worse still is the poor communications from the retailer on OzB.
I managed to get the actual beers shown but they aren't great. So perhaps those who got a 50% refund and a mid-strength might be ahead on this deal ;)
Reckon these will still be alright in 6 months time? Planning to dish these out at our housewarming. I know, I'm all class.
