To redeem, bypass the onboarding screen & onboarding paywall. If you look closely, there is a blue cross button in the top right to skip past all screens.
Then, Go to app settings > tap Upgrade to Plus banner on the top > Click yearly plan and Start 1 year free.

Remember to cancel the subscription immediately after the purchase and it will last for a year. To Cancel, do it from iOS Settings > click on the top photo section > Subscriptions > Select VPN > Cancel.

  Spent 10 minutes trying to not selecting to be monitored by the app, can’t do anything on my phone unless accepting the minion. Anyway, successfully deleted at the end. Also couldn’t find the cancellation until deleting it, it could be just me not knowing how to do it but it was not easy for me.

  This app is tricky - "onboarding screen" got a nearly invisible "cross" button on the top right corner. Also I reckon it also makes money from those who forgot to cancel after one year…
