      Personally, Special OPs: Lioness

      For my kids: Paw Patrol….

      https://www.justwatch.com/au/provider/paramount-plus

Add this site to your favorites so you can see what content is exclusive to what streaming service. I have the whole paramount plus 'exclusive' library on Plex already as there is barely anything on there (887 titles). Even Stan and Disney Plus have almost x3.5 as much content.

      If you want recommendations

      1923
      1883
      Yellowstone
      Yellowjackets
      Twin Peaks
      Tulsa King
      The Good Wife
      The Good Fight
All of Star Trek minus Prodigy

      • thx, I normally use https://www.binged.com/

      • +3

Yellowstone available on Paramount? I thought it was only on Stan

      • +3

        Also X-Files

      • The listing of 4k content doesn't appear accurate.

Anybody know another way to source it?

      • It Just Watch reliable?

I'm watching Blue Bloods on Binge, it will renew on 15/Apr (last month on $5).

May give up the $5 offer and switch to Paramount by 14/Apr.

        • You have to watch Warrior if you have Binge, best show ever.
From the mind of Bruce Lee and set in 1800’s San Francisco
It’s a cross between Deadwood and a Kung fu movie ,
and anyone who trained with nunchuku and doubled up will appreciate these fight scenes.
Truly some awesome choreography and weapons use.

Mayor of Kingstown is one of the best shows on Paramount+, I really enjoyed Halo , Landman is amazing, Billy Bob is so good in it, they have heaps of amazing programming as they are Showtime which is half of what foxtel used to show

      • There is also an app. I use it on android.
It's so handy when you have a few different streaming platforms.

      • I think it worth if you are a soccer die hard. It has the A league and a lot of international stuff.

        Otherwise, meh.

    • A League is popular

  • +1

I've had it for almost a year now and still haven't watched anything.

    • +3

      Why is that??

      • I usually watch one of the other streaming services and nothing has stood out to watch on Paramount+ …

I got it to watch Frasier, but that was a let down…

  • +1

Had it for 8 months (yearly payment) didn't really use it but they cancelled it after 8 months and when I emailed them about it I got a response in spanish.

Doesnt work for current subscribers to extend.

    • +1

yep, did not work for me either. Nowhere to enter the code.

      • +1

If you are happy to use a new email, you can sign up for Origin Energy NBN to get free Paramount Plus Standard for a year. Just migrate again after the first month, or even cancel the order after you get the Paramount code email (but be sure to use the Paramount code before you cancel).

    • +1

Sure does. I just went to cancel my plan and it popped up and offered it to me.

      • I just tried cancelling mine and it didnt offer it to me. It may only offer it to some existing accounts?
Unfortunately I cant figure out how to apply it to my existing subscription.

        • Same here. No offer to renew after cancellation. Must be targeted

  • +4

Still salty they removed Star Trek Prodigy. Its such a mediocre service in general, the app is bad across smart TVs/iPad and consoles and there is barely any exclusive content. You can literally sail the seas can get all Paramount Plus exclusive content and it will barely make a dent in drive space. I'm not knocking on the quality of the Paramount Plus originals themselves but there is barely any to warrant subbing to the service.

    • Really wish there was an approachable way to learn how to sail the high seas. I'm a reasonably savvy person but it has always felt like too high of a learning curve to start. And then adding in a Plex thing. Where would one even start?!?

      • Reddit is a great place. If you can't find what you're looking for, dm me and I'll point you in the right direction.

      • +1

Haven't sailed in several years as I was happy with streaming services. Getting a bit fed up and thought "I'll just get back into it!" and waaaaaaaaa what a mess! Started a dive into Reddit and trying to wade through the tall grass while picking up bits and pieces is proving to be quite an undertaking.

      • +1

DM me, ill steer the ship for you

  • Thanks OP.

  • +3

1923 and 1883 were quite entertaining, I thought. Nice to see Han Solo back in action in 1923.

    • I loved these two shows. Very well made and written. Very different shows from Yellowstone (to which they are 100+ year prequels), which I couldn't get into.

      • +1

Watched Yellowstone, then went back in time to watch 1883 & 1923. Didn't do it for me.

        • +2

Then I guess you agree that they're very different from their parent!

      • +1

I agree. Haven't actually seen any of Yellowstone yet. 1883 was fairly slow to begin with but gets you hooked slowly, and it's beautifully filmed. And 1923 has something for everyone, good old classic storytelling with pretty decent and clever dialogue most of the time.

  • +2

I find that there's better toddler shows than the other paid streaming platforms, and those shows aren't being produced anymore - i.e. Bubble Guppies, Ni Hao Kai Lan, etc

    • Yeah we spent a lot of time on Paramount Plus when my now 5-year-old was 3. Every series of Blaze and the Monster Machines is here, with better layout than on Prime.

  • +3

This is a bit unrelated, but last week I came across tv.garden for steaming channels across the globe.. seems to work in most cases.. hope some of you find it useful :)

    • Saved it as a favourite, thanks.

  • +6

For me it's all about the retro Nickleodeon stuff:
    - Invader Zim
    - Hey Arnold
    - Catdog
    - Rocko's Modern Life
    - Ahh. Real Monsters
    - Avatar
    - Kora
    etc etc

And half price seems about fair to me.

I'm not happy that we are almost expected to consume that way, but I guess it is what it is. It's not like I buy Kellog's cereals, Cadbury chocolates or dozens of other products at times that they are not on "special" for half price. But then that's pretty much a third of the time anyway.

Excellent for A-League and W-League fans!

“To redeem this offer you must click through via this email. The discount will be automatically applied to your subscription before you pay”

Where is the link needed to access this offer?

    • +1

Just enter the code on checkout.

  • I too would halve my price if my latest season of Yellowjackets was about to end and I didn't have much else in the pipeline for some time.

  • -3

Its not worth it even at 50%

  • +2

A league season is coming to an end loads of people will off load it

    • +1

I sadly was waiting for a deal before I signed back up again and have missed the majority of this season. But another will come and now I'll be able to watch it, but yes, shit timing…

  • My liitle one likes it for all the Paw Patrol catalogue.

  • -6

Code not working on new yearly premium. Says invalid promo code.

EDIT TO ADD - Doesn't work on new accounts with a 7 day free trial, however does work on expired accounts.

    • Works for me.

  • +1

I got it at half price last time. I'm having a lot of sound issues on my LG tv. Apparently others have it too. Sound will drop out for several seconds every so many seconds or minutes. It is definitely not a bandwidth issue, as it has plenty. Only happens in the Paramount+ app. Apparently people using the Prime app don't have it, but then you'd have to subscribe through Prime and you can't get it half price.

  • New series Mobland dropping on there weekly.

  • +3

I think the entry of (HBO) Max into the AU market has Paramount worried tbh.

  • +2

I just can't bring myself to give them money after what they did to Halo.

    • and star trek

  • +1

    Do they allow password sharing?

    • +2

Mother in law in another city uses it with our account details and never had an issue. Actually haven't had any issues with any of the services other than Netflix asking to update the household constantly.

      • Thanks!
Disney Plus started enforcing a few months ago

        • She uses our Disney, Stan and Paramount. We use her Amazon/Prime, Netflix and Binge.

Netflix is the only one that kicks up a stink :)

  • +3

How do you enter the code if you're an existing subscriber? There is only a 'resume' sub button.

  • +1

Couldn't get it working for me. Tried with both my existing account on a trial membership and a brand new account. Code is invalid.

Will try again tomorrow as I'm enjoying watching Dexter.

  • +1

Your better off setting up streamio..

  • All of the American pie movies are available?

  • Worked perfectly on an old account, thanks for posting! My primary account expired last week and I activated a 7 day free trial through Optus Subhub in the hopes that I would find a deal before that expired…great timing. I've been enjoying Ghosts (US version) and rewatching King of Queens. My kid probably uses it the most, lots of cool toddler-friendly cartoons.

  • +1

    Thanks Op.
Had to catch up on Star Trek discovery and SNW. Perhaps will watch deep space nine again. Plus they have the latest south park and maybe American pie. Woohoo!

Worst UI in living memory. Less responsive than Lenovo's support line.

  • +1

Waiting for a deal to resubscribe. Awesome thanks.

  • +1

Good timing. My subscription expired today and I resubscribed with no issue.

  • Thank you OP. My subscription recently lapsed - renewed it using your code. $62 is great value.

  • +1

I just signed up for Premium Annual plan with the promo code, it was showing I was going to be charged $62.49, i enter my card information but I get charged $124.99!!!! WTF!!!! I have submitted a support ticket, lets see what happens.

  • Ta. Lapsed member. Worked to sign up from
Web, not from app - couldn’t find anywhere to enter code in app.

  • 1883, 1923, Yellowjackets, Mob Land, Dexter Original Sin, Lioness, Landman, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown.

Paramount+ is probably the service I watch most for TV shows.

  • it worked for my expired sub

  • Code seems to have expired. Just tried now.

  • I just tried and it still works for me
