with the helmet on, you can pretend its whoever you want

      • and with flame thrower kit installed.

    • huh?

Not sure why you are getting negged, Aliexpress has got absolute bargains. Got the Landrover Defender technic for $32, got the Duen Ornithopter for $35.

      • yeh…this is true…i guess some ppl are staring at the 000's of $ of genuine lego sets on the shelf above their computer screens as they stack on and neg away, convincing themselves that the premium price tags paid are a good investment in self righteousness if not resale value?

me, personally, i am looking at the technics hyper cars, star wars and various MOC sets i spent only a few hundred on with a smug sense of satisfaction!

lego prices have become ludicrous of late and supporting them only makes them increase prices.

with geographic pricing strategies, they are having a laugh in the Australian market, assuming we all have a higher level of disposable income than other parts of the world.

The negs are probably from people who believe that "homage" is a bit of a stretch for something which is just straight out IP theft.

I pass no judgment. Let he who has never stepped on an errant Lego cast the first brick.

yes - but are not geographic pricing strategies, based on perceived levels of disposable incomes and direct access to credit lines, also some sort of relative extortion?

  • I recently built the mini Red Bull, have the larger variant plus the mini and large Ferraris to go.
