Mine just arrived from eBay. It's really impressive. Very powerful and feels quality.

Question for these sorts of products, roughly after how long do these start to lose its 'lifespan'?

    • I have an open case that needs regular cleaning. I've bought two different models before through past deals, but both died after only 10-20 uses within a year, and I couldn't claim any warranty on them.

      • +1

Do you keep them charged at 100% in storage? The batteries will likely have a longer lifespan if you store them with about 60% storage.

        • No, it's quite strange because I've never had any trouble with battery devices. Even my oldest power bank still works well. I currently use a leaf blower or air compressor to clean the case and need to watch out for any water or rust buildup, especially in humid weather.

      • +1

By different models, do you mean different brands? Or different models of Wolfbox?

        • Different brands

          One of this “https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/636494”
and another one of those with black handles

          • @behrouz: FWIW my OPOLAR one (different model to that) also didn't last long, barely used it and it stopped holding a charge.
It only worked for 5 sec at a time - so finally got to throw it out when I got this one.
The only thing I miss is the brush head from the OPOLAR.

      • That means you got products with really, really crappy batteries in them.

  • this would be perfect for clearing stuck a/c drainage hose

    Any good for dusting Lego?

    • +1

Or any strong portable vacuum for Lego anyone can recommend ?

    • The Wolfbox MF100 clowns on any of those cheaper models. If it hasn't been reviewed and tested by a known source, forget about it, it'll be trash.

  • +1

Project Farm just compared a dozen air dusters a month ago, this was one of the top performers though on the (relatively) expensive side.

It actually sounds reasonable now with the discounts.

  • Hmm the $20 coupon seems to have disappeared… Is it available for anyone else?

    • was about to ask the same thing

  • $95.75 on eBay with plus.

Grabbed one. Hoping the boss will let me expense it for tools of the trade.

    ;)

  • +1

thank god it expired. almost bought one

  • Just missed it again

  • +1

Could anyone confirm the $20 coupon is back? It is now showing up for me. T&C's say coupon valid 14 Apr to 28 Apr (could be because i have claimed it already that it shows up differently?)

    • +1

Confirmed. I see the coupon available again.

    • I can see it now too, applies at checkout.

    • I've got it at as well.

Looks like coupon is back on the menu!

    • Is working for me right now

    • +1

Coupon seems to be back! Just ordered one - thanks OP!

  • +1

ordered one, been waiting on a deal for this

  • This is really good for cooling down your bowl of pho.

  • +1

Strongly advise hearing protection when using this, it's powerful but loud and very shrill.

  • Never knew these existed, when I clean my bikes I blow out all the water from the brakes, gears, chain, etc with a leaf blower. This should be a great replacement.

  • Nice one! Yes sure, similar price previously, but getting it from Amazon is preferable for me, peace of mind..

  • Ordered and already shipped for delivery by 10pm tonight !

  • +2

Got one. Is there a similar best-in-class for portable vacuums?

  • Anyone who has one able to confirm if at high power, it seems to reduce power very quickly? Like it hits a thermal reduction?

    • I just ran it for a minute and it did not notice any powr reduction.

You do need to hold the button down at max power though.

  • +1

    Seems like no coupon again.

  • Anyone know how this compares to the plug-in CompuCleaner from this deal (apart from small/portable battery vs bigger plug-in):

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/885817

  • On ebay was 95

  • Coupon has disappeared again…..

  • +4

    I just received it.
I am blown away by the performance.
Didnt expect it to be this good.
Definety more powerfu than a compressed air can.

    • Yeah the push you get against your arm when you use it on max is wild hey

  • Was arriving before 9pm today but it’s been delayed:

“ Now expected by 17 April
WOLFBOX MF100 Compressed Air Duster-150000RPM Super Power Electric Air Duster, Rechargeable Long-Life Air Blower, Cordless 3-Gear Adjustable Mini Blow
We’re sorry for the delay. If you have not received your package by 17 April, you can come back here the next day for a refund.”

Tryaking an offer to the seller on eBay. Mine got accepted and I ended up paying $88 after applying the ebayplus code

    • how much did you offer?

      • +1

        I offered $110

  • +1

Lots of people must have been waiting for a good sale again as just in the last few days the amazon page has gone from 600+ brought in past month to now 1k+ brought in past month. Might also be why they took the coupon away…..

  • Out of curiosity for everyone that purchased yesterday or today what version user manual did you get? I have V1.4 on the top right of my user manual.

    • V1.4 too

      • I got V1.3. Guess that means its older stock :(

        • I believe it could just be the versions for the user manual as theres still a few poorly translated/written sections even in V1.4

          • +1

@Dragonova: Ah, yes. Mine offers the warning "Please do not put the air inlet of the machine and hair contact, otherwise it is easy to hair into the machine"

It also warns "Please do not use the air nozzle to blow dust", which is interesting for an air duster..

  • +2

If anyone is interested & doesn’t mind jumping through some hoops and have eBay plus. I picked this up recently for $88 off eBay (plus whatever saving off eBay giftcards you have access to).

Send them a best offer of $105, they’ll counter offer $110. Accept it and use APL20 (eBay plus) to get $22 off.

    • They offered me $115 today.

      • Down to $93 with the APL20 code is still decent.

  • Got mine - works great. More powerful than I expected.

  • Back again - $0.30 cheaper now

  • +1

    These just blow? No sucking??

    • +1

      Correct. No suck, just blow.

  • This item seems great. I watched a lot of Youtube about this (project farm) - I currently have a MetroData DataVac ED500 (got it for $150 in 2012-2015), but its outrageously priced at $350 now.
This seems like a great option - smaller, probably more force, cheaper.

I won't be buying this since i've already got a blower, but based on the Youtube reviews, i can wholeheartedly recommend this product.

  • Anyone compared this to a cheap leafblower for car drying?

  • Is this better than using a compressed air in a can? Also, how long does the battery last for?

  • Genuine question. Why blow when sucking leaves surroundings cleaner?

    • Cause sometimes vacs don't have great suction.

    • Genuine question. Why blow when sucking leaves surroundings cleaner?

Vacuums are good for when you can get the nozzle right up against the thing you want to clean. This is fine for things like floors and carpets, but if the thing you're cleaning isn't flat, e.g. computer cases, fans, various equipment, blowing is more effective as it's more focused.

It's the same way you can easily blow a paper cup off a table from a short distance but won't be able to when sucking with the same force from the same distance.

  • noob question, is this safe for blowing the dust off the camera lens?

    • Just judging by the image and the makeup brush, Id say so

  • Ear thermometer vibes. I wonder…..

    • I think it would damage your inner ear. It’s very powerful.

  • Would this be suitable for removing dust off of large monitor screens?

    • +4

Yes, but so would a $1 microfibre cloth….

  • I know this gets a lot of rant and raves, but how is this compared to a conventional mains-powered air blower? Is it worth going wireless for the money?

    • Will know mid May when I get it delivered and followup here 👍👍
