Vodafone is good. Optus is the bane of my existance except their subsidiaries are good
Optus and TPG/Vodafone are sharing regional frequencies, so coverage should be similar between the two.
Vodafone fine in Brisbane.
Fyi, I believe you receive 320GB data at renewal time - if electing to "auto renew" this annual plan (100GB bonus). Of course, things may change and/or I may have misread!!
Are there any speed caps? I can't see anything in the critical info summary.
Any casback..
15% with topcashback
He was asking for casback
He was asking if old mate Cas is Back
"Calls to 13 numbers are $0.20 per minute" on prepaid
Am I a new customer if my last 12months expired in Feb and I've been on Amaysim since then?
Some areas in Syd Vodafone isn't working!
Assuming this is 5G? I can’t immediately see that on the site.
From their website: 'Yes, all of our Prepaid Plans are 5G ready. With a 5G approved device you could access our 5G network if you are in a 5G coverage area. Our 5G network is rolling out in selected areas of major Australian cities. Check your coverage.'
Thank you, appreciate this.
Would this work on iPad as data sim?
Vodafone claims "We’ve more than doubled our network coverage, from around 400,000 to 1,000,000 square kilometres"
In particular:
* SA, we’ve tripled our network coverage
* QLD, we’ve quadrupled our network coverageCan anyone confirm this? I travelled with Vodafone a few years ago in regional SA and was completely offline after passing Port Augusta
I bought this last time for $180 with 25% topcashback so paid $135. I believe if you opt in to auto recharge, you get an extra 100GB data (it shows 420GB remaining in Vodafone app). You can turn off auto recharge any time.
The coverage in regional areas seems OK and was at times even better than the backup Boost (Telstra network) SIM I brought along. However, personally I notice there is a dead zone between Camberwell and East Camberwell station in Melbourne which Boost does not suffer from.
Another benefit of going with Vodafone directly is that you get access to 5G SA, which should be beneficial to battery life as it doesn't need to maintain a 4G connection to work, and should also have better coverage because of this. It also has lower latency, around 20ms compared to 30ms on 5G NSA. (I've tried Boost and Lycamobile and they do not have 5G SA)25% cashback from TopCashback. Offer ends on Thursday 17th April 11:59pm AEST. $149.25 after cashback.
If they do the 25% again, i will bite and buy as I am looking at buying 2
fyi if you enter your card and agree to auto renewal during activation you get an extra 100gb, my dashboard says 420gb now
ordered one
Are international calls are included?
220GB + 100GB (promotion offer) + 100GB (opt-in auto recharge) = 420GB
6000 min international call$149.25 after cashback, not bad.
The offer is expired
I might do this as it seems they arent going to do this offer agian before the deal expires
25% was better but second best officeworks
But you don't get to use TopCash 15% cashback which is better than officeworks 5% price beat
+1 if you just couldn’t do it to yourself, despite any price, because you value connectivity to data and calls a non negotiable. Plus vote tho because competition is good!
