Had one of my accounts banned when I locked from a different state and used it immediately after locking. However my other 2 accounts are still working fine as long as I wait at least 24 hours after locking to fill up.
How are you locking interstate?
@Tuttorix: I use the ianygo iOS app (need to sideload it from tenorshare) saves having to connect to a pc each time
@Tuttorix: Turn on fake location with GeoPort so that the price is shown but don’t press lock yet. Turn off fake location and disconnect your phone from your PC, then press lock. Wait at least 24 hours before filling up.
Mind sharing how as I’m unable to on iOS :(
I locked in yesterday by using iAnyGo on my PC and iPad
I use iFakeLocation (iPhone X, iOS 16)
1 Fake location in same state
2 Search for fuel price
3 Turn off wifi (disregard if on mobile data already)
4 Lock in fuel price

Need to use Geoport now.But often after prices go up, 7/11 is one of the first to increase prices
So you are better off just filling up elsewhere where the price hasnt gone up.eg, I filled up on U91 yesterday and a local (OTR) Shell for 157.9
The local 7/11 is has been 208.9 for the last 3 days
After thier max 25c discount it only comes down to 183.9

Ianygo also have an iOS app now so you don’t need to update on a pc, you just have to remember to reset it every 7 days
There is max 25c/L price difference rule. So the max you can save from the current price is 25c/L
There are two petrol stations near me with U91 prices at $165.9 and $164.6. If the locked price isn’t honored, you could end up paying a lot more.

Same. I used to have it working on my rooted Android before the huge crackdown. It was much more convenient being able to lock in untethered unlike with iOS
Absolutely, I do have multiple iOS devices around the home, both jailbroken and non jailbroken. I should give it a shot again now considering I can't use my rooted Android anymore.

it's not worth trying to lock in interstate, you've run into trouble. it's only ~1c more in NSW

Geoport worked for me to lock on ios 18.3.2. I am located in VIC.

Great. Used Geoport on MacOS to spoof location and locked the price on the 7-11 app. Geoport works wonderfully on ios 18, Iphone 14 Pro

Yeah. Using mock location and hiding it too (after the app initially noticed it wasn't my real co-ordinates, but that was a very obvious error unlike the one it gives me now.) so I dunno.

I've been locking in on a second phone with root without a SIM, specifically locking in in NSW to avoid bans so I haven't been affected. But this is tempting

the lock can be used in any 7-11 fuel stations, but has a limitation of up to 25c discountseg. this deal has a U95 price of 156.5
if you use the lock and fuel in station pricing 214.9, you end up paying 214.9 - 25 = 189.9c / L
if station pricing is 189.9, you end up paying 189.9 - 25 = 164.9c / L
if station pricing is 160.9, you end up paying 156.5c / L (hasn't reach the 25c discount limit)

The cheapest U95 7-11 around me is 184.9 (some stations are up to 214.9 for U95)
locking this brings the U95 price to 159.9 which is pretty good!Great to see everyone still able to do chopper. I unfortunately do not have the adequate chopper power and radar to get to Werribee due to current flight restrictions. Have a lovely Easter everyone!
Isn't this still limited by the $0.25c maximum discount? I stopped doing the fake location when they did that. Wasn't worth the bother.
25c discount is still not bad to fill the full tank from empty (at least for me)
50L x 25c = $12.5probably the key is to find the cheapest local 7-11 station to use the lock

7-11 store in Werribee is closed now so this is the old price set in their system. From previous experience they can remove all the fuel lock the next day so don't keep your hope up that you can use it in 7 days.
Because of the max discount of 25c you need to find 7-11 with price lower than $1.815 to get this locked price, if it is higher then you can only reduce that high price by 0.25c
If you are in the western suburb near Sunshine you may not want to bother with this since most of the 7-11 price is over $2.
There is a cheaper servo in Speedway in Sunshine West U91 $1.545 and U95 $1.665, just check PetrolSpy app for the lowest price.
Yes, both times happened when somebody put a 1 instead of a 2 at the front e.g. 105.9, this was before the 25c rule too so they urgently needed to do something. However, nowadays they probably let it slide coz you won't save much even with a blunder.
