Bose QuietComfort SC Headphones Black $219 Delivered @ Hub by Triforce

430

First time poster so please go easy on me! I came across this deal when looking at other items on this site.

Tried price matching with JB Hi-Fi and Good Guys but they don’t stock this exact model any more.

Still a great price!

Gonna go easy here, JB doesn't have stock because they sold it out @ 178

    • Try price matching it with Bose - however it shows as temporarily out of stock

from past posts on these cans:

was sub $190 from Costco just 3 months ago

    "$209 is a good benchmark"

    "was $179 before"

End of the day, your call!

Just curious - why are these so cheap?

I thought these are on par compared to the XM5. How can Bose sell them for literally half the price of the Sony? what's the catch?

Run out model, I personally prefer Sony after using both, much better fit but that's very relative

Thanks. So the replacement is coming/already here?

I have both the SC and XM4, I am asking because I am baffled by the price..

        • +2

Bosu QC ultra is the right XM5 competitor atm

Got those 2 headphones as well.

there are many better choices out there for sub 200.

if you are only looking for these two.

sub200, Bose SC, slightly comfy than XM4. Bought this on last JB sales because true ozbargainer. lol.

SC has no firmware update since launch in 2023.

Otherwise, rather wait for XM4 on sale. much better sound IMO.

      • Also, Sony is better built.

Quality of ear cushion material is so much better in Sony. Bose cushion pads worn out within a year. Audio quality and noise cancellation are similar in both - at least I couldn't find a noticeable difference.

      Awful battery.

      • How many hours do you get on a full charge?

The SCs are the slightly cheaper version without a hard case (SC is an abbreviation for Soft Case), they're an older model now, the SC never really sold well because the case on the standard Quietcomforts is so much better and it's not much more to get the hard case, BOSE is a smaller player than Sony in the premium wireless headphone scene, and the battery life is awful. The catch is really the battery life.

  • i'm returning these, too hot for ears. IEM is the way

  • JB just price matched for me…?

  • Microphones are horrible on these

  • Outstanding cans for the price.

    Awful battery life.

  • I got these at JB back in December for 188, my first pair had their gremlins, but I reached out to BOSE, and they were very helpful. They sent me a replacement pair for free in exchange for my first set, and they've been much better, plus they sent me the hard case rather than the soft case.
