What about the Lodoss War?
Megiddo war, or nothing !
Which Megiddo war? I think there's only about 25 destruction layers to choose from.
Thought your link was going to be this for a sec, I didn't know it was a true story. https://www.primevideo.com/region/fe/detail/0PDFZ34CKRO466C4…
What about the Star Wars?
Asking for a friend, surname 'Binks'
What about the battle of Red Cliffs? or the Battle of Gaugamela?
I'm a lover, not a fighter.
I'll see if I can find my cousins from the War on Drugs.
Need more info. What are the limitations on dates and countries?
Based on the OP's description it seems to be unlimited access to Ancestry Premium for 48 hours.
They are probably just using the whole "war records" thing as an attention grabber given ANZAC day.
Yeah, there's a search page that looks pretty unlimited but then it gets you to log in and then it only allows access to some records. Wants you to upgrade, etc. (expensive).
Thanks for doing the legwork eloque!
Is it a scam?
Yes. They will take your details and enrol you in the ADF.
Yes. They will take your DNA and facilitate the arrest of your relatives for historic crimes.
Yvan eht nioj.
Honestly, Ancestry.com is the biggest load of garbage. It does have records access, and they do ok at linking your records with others, but it is a data mining fest. I helped a friend use it as there was no way I was putting any more information of my own up than is necessary, but the things they ask for that are purely backdoor sell your data style questions are absurd. It's ridiculously expensive too for what you get access to as well. I'd avoid signing up and paying a dodgy company to give them the privilege of selling your data.
War, what is it good for?
Les we learn!
Imagine if all countries put 2% of their GDP towards and annual global party.
Bombs or bbq and beers?
Would hold an international public holiday in recognition of a hangover and clean up.
Like seriously…we are just fighting ourselves. Both sides of the fence have Mums/ Dads/ kids etc etc…grow up.
Human race is still led by primates.
Nothing bad ever happens at alcohol fueled parties
"Alcohol fuelled" is another commercial channel cliché
"Freedom"
As I pay my Stamp duty, income tax, GST..so we can buy submarines then change our mind.
War never changes
Thanks for that link. Found my grandfathers records.
Thank you so much for sharing. This was far more useful that Ancestry.com. Found great granddad's records within minutes.
That was useful, thanks. Found my grandfather's records including his date of shipping out to New Guinea. I was able to save all of his records too which was handy.
My family was all either neutral in WWII or collaborated with Nazi Germany against the Soviets during WWII.

Is that you, Elon?
name checks out
I'll save you the trouble. Steve's highest score was 200, whilst Mark's was only 153.
Mark was more aesthetically pleasing. Steve was a grafter.
I know what my parents did in WWII.
My father was given the job by the military of drilling bores around the outback, because he was colour blind. I don't know why that makes you unsuitable to be a combat soldier. Maybe they think you'd get the different uniforms mixed up and shoot the wrong person.
My mother was assigned to the Womens Land Army and spent the war doing farm labour to replace the men who went off to fight. Maybe they thought because she was a woman she shouldn't be given a gun because she wouldn't shoot the right person.
Data harvesting bussiness. Avoid if you can
Gina Reinhart says we ought to spend 5% of Australia's GDP on the military.
Peter Dutton says we ought to spend 3%. That's what you'll get if you vote for him.
Antony Albanese says we ought to spend 2.5%. That's what you'll get if you vote for him.
That's the choice we get between the major parties 2.5% or 3% when its currently 2% under Labor. And the media is arguing which it should go up to given the dangerous world they tell us we are living in. Which is the better policy, a little bit more, or a lot more.
Meanwhile a credible opinion poll found that 2/3rd of Australians don't want it to increase at all. They haven't been convinced we are living in a world where there really is any threat to Australia. Both big parties are electioneering - trying to get votes not lose them - with a defence policy 2 Australians out of 3 don't want. You expect that on most issues from one side or the other. But in this case its both. Makes you wonder who those in the Canberra bubble are listening to.

Turn it up to 11
11% of Australia's GDP on the military
You clearly haven't seen Spinal Tap and don't get the reference.
