This is the time to buy a pair
I bought a pair Last time the price was $249 and I have zero regrets
    They can fit big heads
    Very light
    Sound great
    Noise cancellation is good

    • Hard to fit small head tho, I need to be careful when walking around with it.

      • totally agree, too loose not enough grips, and ………….no auto pause sensor (at this price range is unacceptable imho)

Edit: my bad, had VPN on, still in stock

      • you are always on VPN ?

  • Anyone that uses this for online teams meeting can confirm if the headphones will clearly say mute/unmute of the mic when the mute button gets pushed? The Microsoft headphones I have today simply beeps when mute/unmute so can’t even tell if muted or not.

Here in NZ we just had them go down to $199 NZD, but even at $249 AUD that's still pretty good

  • Are these a good option, when on a plane?

    • +4

      Yes definitely

      • Yes definitely. Just flew not long ago, no music just nc really cut out the engine noise

Had these, upgraded to Bose 700, then Sony XM5 for video conferencing/calls.

Now back to these. For call voice capture/music, the more expensive models are superior, but for comfort and fit, the QC45s are by far my favourite. Im not too fussed about the "best" music quality.

If these had better microphones it would.be perfect for me.

    • so for zoom/team office meeting, this one is better than Bose 700, and Sony XM5 ? can people hear background noises during the call (from other office workers talking for example)

      • bought this from JB deal last year. mic and sound were not good for meeting.

bought anker space q45 for office use in sub $200. not as comfy as SC but the rest are better IMO.

colleague bought Anker Space one recently. not bad and currently $129 at Amazon.

for $249, just pay a bit more to get XM4/XM5 when they are on sale.

but in a time when we are dual wielding phones so you don't need to switch between TikTok and Instagram reels apps do we really also need a noise cancelling ANC headphone that also blocks out any social attempts as you walk around. 😂

  • I wish i could use these in the gym but they start to smell even just wearing them in the office. I hate headphones - bad design.

    • You know you can change the pads and a little membrane cover, right? Around 20-30 aud for the set.

      • Or buy 2 pairs one for gym and one for office

Just grabbed a pair with a third party hard case for an extra $26. Been in the market for a new pair of headphones for a couple of months. Thank OP.

  • To those debating, don't hesitate you won't regret these esp for travelling. I have 2 pairs, one for back up lol. Do it!

  • Thanks, will make for a nice birthday gift.

  • Just a note that connecting these headphones via Bluetooth may cause certain laptops (such as mine) will cause the laptop to somehow ‘forget’ the laptop and headphone microphone and speakers.

Every time I accidentally connect these headphones to my laptop via bluetooth the audio status (in the bottom right corner of my laptop) shows an ‘X’ and I’ve no audio input either with the headphone or the laptop and have to restart the laptop.

My work’s IT dept says it’s a common problem with certain headphones although for some reason I can’t find anyone else on the internet reporting the same issue.
