      -Anton

Hi OP, is there a discount possible for your 10GB Japan 5G SIM Card? I don't need unlimited data, just connectivity for 3 weeks. Thanks

    • Why the downvotes? If I bought two of these sims it would be like $104 as opposed to the RRP of two of their 10GB sims around $54

  • +1

Of course this happens when I bought a Japanese SIM card from ya'll already rippp

    • Contact the rep via DM and provide your order number.

  • Great deal, you may not need unlimited data unless you are streaming. I mostly used data for navigation

    • Yes it all depends on your needs :)

We have Unlimited data for power users that do not want to worry about data as well as one with data allowance.

      -Anton

  • Cheers OP. Already had a 10gb eSim but this will be handy as a backup for my trip next month.

Does this give us a Japanese phone number to use in japan? or is it just data.

    • Didn't you see the table in the OP?

      • Oh i did not, i see the data only column now. I swear I skimmed the rest of the details but didn't see that mentioned, didn't expect it to be in the table.

    • These are data-only it does not come with a phone number

      -Anton

      • thank you

  • Deals for UK/Europe please!

  • Can we get a deal on esims?

    • Hello we currently have buy one get one at 30% off

      -Anton

  • Would like to know which esim will work both in S. korea and Japan over a 2 week period.

  • Hi - I am going for 17 days.

Is it possible to 'recharge' a 15 day one after expiry? or does it just stop working after that day? Alternatively is it recommended to buy the 31day, or 15 day + 7 day one? thanks!~

    • +1

Hello it is not possible to top these SIMs, if you need to cover the full 17 days you would need to purchase 7 SIMs

      -Anton

  • Any esim deal? Travel in September

    • We will have one before then stay tune :)

      -Anton

  • I dont know how KDDI can be number 1 unless japan mobile speeds are generally slow…. the sim i got which jumped between the kddi n softbank network, to me was below average compared to 5g here. I was getting on average 10mbps download speeds or less, while travelong amount tokyo for 3wks this month. I'll think twice before buying a CMHK sim.

    • Hello this is not a cmhk SIM but a local SIM card which will perform differently than a "cmhk" SIM.

Even with the cmhk SIM you should be getting more than 10mbps, we always ask customers to please contact us if they encounter any issues as there are things that we can do to assist.

      -Anton

      • Can you elaborate on what you mean by perform differently? Also if i was to contact you about the poor speed, what could you have done since i had a physical sim?

        • We can request the operator to perform a reset on the back end or refresh the plan - 10mbps is definitely not the correct speed, you can also manually select Softbank as it is one of the supported network.

CMHK is a roaming SIM that works on KDDI or Softbank network, KDDI local plan will be prioritise over any "roaming" agreement just like if you use local Optus or Telstra in Australia vs a roaming one, the local one will 100% be better.

          -Anton

  • If I order it today or tomorrow, what are the chances I get it by 9th May?

    • You can get via priority post and you will be fine

      -Anton

      • Yep thats what I ended up doing :)

  • I can't find the 10 days option…

    • 10 Days is now out of stock - we expect the rest to sell out too

      -Anton

      • Didnt realise they were in perth.

I ordered yesterday priority …need it by the 7th. Too used to assuming ayd, vic, qld.

Got invoices today but no shipping notice.

  • @TravelKon .. while it says Hotspot is enabled, but it also says SIM will not work on Modem/Mifi/Pocket Wifi device.

I guess that means it won't work in a GL.iNet 4G LTE router? lol

Was hoping so because then I can maintain wifi calling on my phone. Unless anyone has any tricks on how an iPhone can use one SIM and still do wifi calling?

    • No we cannot guarantee for it to work in a router - besides there is a "hotspot limit" with this product as the main use should be from the phone to prevent excessive usage.

      -Anton

  • NICE

  • How do I know if this has been shipped or not?

    • Hey there you should have received shipment notification.

If not you can DM us your order number and we can check

      -Anton

  • Powered by KDDI (au) – ranked Japan’s #1 network by Open Signal

Note that NTT Docomo still won in the coverage category which is why I always go with them, but if you're just sticking to the cities au is fine enough sure.

    • Hey there!

Thanks for pointing that out, although just note that the "overall" experience is still won by KDDI - in terms of coverage KDDI is aggressively expanding their coverage and in the rankings they came second to NTT Docomo.

      -Anton

  • Received. Perfect . Ty

  • Hi OP I’m currently in Japan with one of your eSIM plans (3o day, 10gb) less than halfway through my time and data but my mobile connection just completely died. Tried toggling Aeroplane Mode turning the phone on and off. Nothing data gone. Never had anything happen like this before. Any suggestions? and also how do I go about getting Support if I can’t get it to work what would you suggest to fix? Thx

    • Please contact us through live chat option or email us (we have instant response there) - you can DM me your order number as well

      -Anton

      • Sorry live chat option? Where is that? Also if I manage to get it working again how do I measure data left?

        • Seems like the eSIM started working again, please keep using our live chat option as it would be the fastest way to get a response.

          -Anton

          • @TravelKon: Thanks, just very unnerving in an unfamiliar place when your phone just dies, especially as it showed full signal. Hope it’s more reliable from now on. Never had that happen in Australia

  • Is there a daily data limit?

    • No this is true unlimited - there is a limit on the hotspot though

      -Anton

  • +1

+1, returned from a trip and speeds were great with no dropouts. No complaints.

    • Thank you for your feedback! Glad it was working well hope you had an awesome trip :)
