    Haha - I had the same dilemma with Dexter and Lost. God forbid should they release Family Guy or American Dad or X-Files or Californication etc etc on Blu Ray.

  Man I wish they could get the original SG1 onto bluray, would buy that in a second. Never liked the whole Atlantis re-hash. From what I read a while back though it would be technically infeasible, atleast for the first 3 seasons.

    I reckon it will be done eventually. Perhaps they may have to do some remastering and that might delay it's release, but they released the original series of Star Trek from the 60s on bluray all remastered and amazing, so I'm pretty sure they can do it for SG1 from the 90s.

  Hmm. If i click on '17 New' on the Amazon page then there is the same region free boxed set for $43 pounds. Going through the checkout process and selecting my address this then drops to $39 pounds with delivery. I gave it a go and my order was accepted, so we'll see how i go :)

    Yep, looks like they are out of stock for immediate delivery and now technically on back order. Ordering from Amazon supplier now shows "Usually dispatched within 5 - 9 business days". Their estimates are usually pretty accurate. You can still get the reduced price, just have to wait a week or so extra for more stock to come in at the cheap price. They won't charge your card until dispatch either.
