          i have this fan, 24 hours battery on lowest setting, worked when we had a blackout overnight, didnt even notice the power outage

              @hippyhippy: quiet till level 3 then its a bit of a hum, 4 5 are louder but still quieter than a standard fan.

              Powerful enough to blow 5+ metres. Portability is great. I dont use misting.

              would buy again :)

    This is a good fan, a bit noisy at mid speed and higher but it does blow hard so the noise becomes bearable. I got mine 10 - 12 years ago, use it a few times a year in peak summer (can't use it all the time due to noise), it has lasted. My older Kmart fan is also good quality, 40 years old and that gets used almost everyday in summer. Both brands are very good quality. Only thing is that the Kmart fan does not blow as hard but is much quieter for use in the bedroom.

    I brought this fan a few months ago and really like it. Havent used the misting feature yet though.

    I have seen they have released a new version in the US and perhaps they are clearing these for next summer? Still a great price with the extra $30 off coupon.

    thanks bought one to replace my dying xiaomi 2s which i absolutely love for how silent it is, this is roughly the same height but hopefully acoustically as capable!

    i also got 3.2% cashrewards cash back if i'm not mistaken.

    Just set mine up today. First impressions, good design, thoughtful engineering and quality build. Only issue? It's not as silent/quiet as my xiaomi fan 2s I got 3 yrs ago. The shark isn't bad at all, but once you have the xiaomi 2s on the lowest setting, everything else seems audible.
