Unless you go for a professional mixer, there's really not much else that comes close at any price.
Unless something has changed since I bought mine eight years ago, they're an absolute workhorse. Mine has been used constantly both as a mixer and with attachments, and it just keeps on going, even after some pretty reckless abuse of the thing.
There are some concessions to price. I needed to adjust the spacing of the K-beater on mine - it was spaced too conservatively out of the box. But this is a basic adjustment that anyone can do.

Not online, went in-store in Sydney CBD at 6:40pm and I took the 2nd last one…. Asked the clerk how many they had left and he said 1, possibly 2. So YMMV across stores. Box is quite big so I assume most stores won't have more than a few at a time. Thanks for the post OP!

I had an earlier Kenwood Kmix KMX75 model but it stopped working after a few years, just wouldn't power on, almost exclusively used for Pizza dough.
I think it was an electronics issue as it had earlier problems coming out of sleep mode (mrs never turned it off at powerpoint).

I've used it to beat pork and prawns into a paste to make dumplings.
There is a meat grinder attachment that you can attach which will be a better tool to do your job though.
