  • Is this all time low? Need to get new phone for my mum

    • With 5% discount gift card method it is

      • discount gift card

How many people are still holding onto gift-card(s), &/or used-it to buy something that is less-ideal?

    • +1

All time low was only $1.80 cheaper. This is cheaper if gift cards are used.

  • -6

I'd probably buy it, but the lack of detailed call records on the Moto (And all Androids?), and limited DND/Call even whilst on silent for specific people is becoming annoying. I've had Android for ever, but these features are making me think about an Iphone :(

  • +1

Can anyone confirm if all discounts below stackable?

    • XMAY2025 promo code
    • 10% everyday extra
    • 5% Gift card
    • 2.6% Cashrewards cashback

I am still thinking of hodling till eofy to see how cheap this can get.

    • +3

First two are the same thing. 5% gift card is a payment method. No cashback. 2.6% is for BIG W market only.

      • +1

Thanks, didn't realize cashrewards cashback is only for big W market. Looks like I ll hold till eofy, hopefully we ll see the $200-250 price range, maybe without the moto buds.

        • +1

The Moto Buds are always included with the G75

    • +2

If you use a discount Code, it makes it ineligible for any cashback.

    • Stackable with 5x points at Big W for everyday reward member

Also, this has now got Android 15 and up to March 2025 security updates too !

  • Can I put two physical SIM on this phone?

  • Is anyone else having issues with using the code at check out?
I'm getting "Sign in or Link Rewards Card to use code" when I attempt to add? Defiantly logged in, tried 2 different browsers with the same error. Anyone know how to fix this?
    Cheers

    • Working on my phone fine with code

    • Same with me. Already login and reward card is linked, but still error.

    • If you are logged in check that you have EDR linked

Any good deals for 3 Rafale planes. Asking for a friend.

    • Rafale is over-rated. Give J-10C a try, worth every penny.

  • Is this a worthy upgrade from the current G84 that I'm using?

    • +1

Better soc on g75 but worse screen.

      • I am fine with IPS LCD. If AMOLED, it's better if no/low PWM issue 🤷

      • Screen on G84 probably best feature so I'm not swapping.

  • The 5000mah is so good.

  • Can I combine my 10% rewards monthly?

    • XMAY2025 is your monthly rewards.. since its not so unique, everybody can use it therefore they are deprecating it from next month onwards.

  • Thanks man, got one. My everyday rewards lined up and brought it down by another $20. Its not the best price though (without the everyday discount), I got a Motorola g85 5G 128GB Cobalt Blue for $274.79 last November. Even if it was 128 GB, an m75 at a slightly higher price is still a loss overall.

  • Is this worth upgrading from a g54? Thanks

  • good phone 3 months before I paid on good guys $320

  • How come this has a better support update lifespan than the other motorola line ups. Even the higher G85 (not sure what the difference is) isn't supported for as long

    • +1

G85 is a lower and cheaper model

      • +1

They're probably referring to G85 having a higher number/model than G75. G75 also includes Moto Buds wireless earphones so the price is probably closer without them.

  • Need a new phone for my son whose Poco X3 just died. Anyone know how this compares? The most intensive thing he runs is Roblox XD

  • +1

How much better than an S21 FE?

  • last time there was a big argument, G75 V G85, which 1 won?

    • 5 os upgrades vs 2 os upgrades.

I picked up a G75 to use as a 4g/5g modem for an upcoming o/s holiday (phone pay as you go plans come with unlimited 4/5g data), have been playing with it since it arrived and I'm genuinely impressed with its features especially for the price.

I'm usually firmly in the Pixel camp, might have to reassess that though next time I need a new phone based on my experience with the G75.

If a cutting edge phone camera particularly in low light isn't something you necessarily need then definitely look at a cheaper Motorola.

I went to Officeworks and compared the dummy handsets in store. G85 easy winner for me. G75 is a bit too big to hold. G85 easy to hold, thinner, I like the curved edge. I mainly wanted biggest screen in smallest package and G85 (along with the rest of the curved edge Moto line) is one of the best.

Tough choice since G75 has a better processor, stronger build and even slightly larger screen albeit with slightly larger bezels.

      • Do you find it a bit heavy? I’m coming from an iPhone SE which is one of the lightest on the market although has smaller screen

        • +1

          G75 - 205g
          G85 - 171g

Coming from a Zenfone 8 (smaller phone), the G85 is good in weight too.

          • @Dice: i like that the G75 has a better support life but like that the G85 is lighter. Why isn't moto more consistent with their support life. These two phones are in the same price range, if they can do for one, surely they can do for the other.

  • I need to upgrade my Pixel 5 - I did originally buy the Edge 50 Neo for $330 in the Nov 2024 deal but got screwed by officeworks.

I do like the smaller handset and appreciate a good camera for photos. Thoughts? Pixel 8a for $499 seemed compelling. Maybe i just do that.

    • Pretty meh cameras on the moto's, stick with pixel if thats your key feature.

      • +1

        Thanks ledg

  • +1

Thanks, bought one with 5% off gc.

  • Is there any good cases and mounts for the G75? I want to use it on my motorcycle. There isn't a quad lock case for it.
