I prefer the M4 via the Apple education at this price point. Same ram/faster cpu/no real need for that much storage

M4 is such a HUUUUGE generational leap in CPU performance that if you can bloody wait for the M5 Macbooks to release to nab the M4 on the cheap in the next 8-10 months, it will be well worth it especially if you keep your Apple Macbooks for more than 5 years.

It’s actually about a 20% leap and a new armv9 instruction set not that much of leap in terms of real world performance.
