  • Anyone received their SIM yet? It's been 8 days, nothing in the mailbox.

    • No so I asked them to swap it to an eSIM instead because my current number was about to expire

      • Dang, mine expires today, looks like I have to go the eSIM way. Thanks~

Got dispatch notification yesterday, I signed up last Friday.

My guess is that these 50% off deals are bringing in lots of new customers.

  • Has anyone received their referral credit in the last few days?

    • Not yet,

    • They said 72 hours after activation but I never got it, need to email them via contact us and get it rectified

      • Did you manage to get the credit?

        • +1

Yes after a few follow up

  • Everything price wise looked too good to be true lol. Moved 2 accounts across from Boost and service is non existant in the building we work at where we had 2 bars previously. And drop outs for both of us around newcastle/central coast area.
    Back to boost it is.
    Would have loved to stay.

  • Hi OP
I bought a plan on eSIM and plan to activate it later this month but I just received an email stating “5 days till Yomojo service activation!”
“ Just a quick reminder—only 5 days remain until your Yomojo SIM is scheduled for activation (16-Jun-25)”

I never specified an activation date. Can I safely ignore this email and activate when I’m ready (before 30 June)? Or do I need do something to ensure this isn’t activated on the 16th

    • +1

Previously I live chatted with them and changed an auto activation date. Very easy and hassle free. Or call them at 1300YOMOJO (1300 966 656)

    • Call the team and they can sort this out for you.

  • do I need to send verification code to some number when porting number? what if my number is inactive, can I receive the verification code instead?

    • We can only port active numbers, if you number is PAYG you should still be able to receive the verification code.

      • What they have meant is whether they have to respond to that verification code for which you need credit in account. So the question is if being able to receive text is enough?

  • Question, I have just ordered a sim card but won't activate until end of June. Could I give my existing number for referral or I have to wait until I connected ?

    • You have to wait until it is connected/activated.

      • Ok thanks

  • Any word on long expiry plans i.e. 6/12mths?

    • No update sorry.

  • Last Chance to get 50% off for 6 months

Morning, this promotion is ending on the 30th of June, so make sure to take advantage of this before then.

We can give you up to 30 days to activate the service, if that helps with your recharge/renewal time frames.

    • 8GB $9.95
    • 25GB $12.45
    • 40GB $14.95
    • 75GB $19.95
    • 100GB $24.95

All plans come with unlimited calls/text and 30 day renewal

    • So I don’t need to port in by 30/6? Is it 30 days from the order date? Do I need to contact support for this?

      • Just order by the 30th, we will need all services activated/ported in July to get the promotion.

    • Do you enter referral details when placing order or when activating?

      • +1

On the last page of the order form.

    • We can give you up to 30 days to activate the service

Ordered on 30th june but why does your email say:

Once your SIM card arrives, you can wait until 16-Jul-25 when we automatically activate your service

      ?

      • That's the standard timeframe, but we can be flexible.

        • I bought it only because you have said 30 days here so make sure it doesn't automatically activate on 16th

  • Had some trouble with an esim activation, had to get it re-issued or something, but I must say the customer service from Vince was amongst the best I have ever received from anywhere. Impressed.

    • Vince is a great member of the team, glad he was able to get you online!

  • No data banking in 2025, no thanks!

    • Our new postpaid plans have databanking.

You would be surprised by how little the average Australian actually uses per month though on their mobile….

      • Really??? I dont see it written anywhere, nor in your critical information page, sooooooo

It shouldn't matter what people use or dont use, if people pay for data they should be able to use it when they want too.

        • They will be on the website next week.

Thanks for your feedback, it is invaluable to us.

  • Just finished signing up to them.
Bad first experience with porting my mobile number over to Yomojo unfortunately.
They ended up sending me a new activation link and it finally worked.
The customer support was good though, went through trouble shooting steps to figure out the issue, via the live chat, took around 40 minutes /:
I tried being cheeky and asking for some credit to my account for the hassle, but my account was too knew for credit to be added, haha
I also had to get in touch with Yomojo chat support again because I could not tell if I had the $9.95 plan for 6 months or not, it was only showing $19.95 on My rate card in the account settings.
So just a suggestion to the Yomojo team if you see this, maybe adding in a way to see the actual plan rate people are on instead of a static price chart, unless I missed something and there is a way to view this?

    • Your email confirmation and your invoice will show the correct amount.

  • Hi

After logging into my account, where does:
    1. the referral credit show up as it I have searched everywhere and I cannot see it.
    2. it state the duration (6m as I ported) for the 50% discount period?

    Now for the weird part:
I signed up for the 8GB plan.
The welcome emails says I signed up for 25GB plan.
The dashboard says I am on the 40GB plan.

    What is going on?!

  • Does Yomojo do credit checking when signing up? If so I need to release my credit reporting ban.

    • Not for prepaid services.

  • After signing up to transfer my number I received this SMS: "Hello [name], to authorise the transfer of your number 04XXXXXXXX to Yomojo, reply with the following code: [6 digit OTP]".

However my current service doesn't have any credit to send SMS. How do I proceed?

    • Call the team up and give them the code over the phone, or do it via chat.

      • Thanks, was able to do it via chat.

  • Has anyone else had issues with activating their Esim?
I couldn't activate my Esim and had to get Yomojo live support to issue me a new one and then it worked.
And now my family member who has signed up is having the same problem, currently waiting on live chat for the past 30 minutes to get support.
They also asked to have their number ported but the number hasn't been ported and is still activate on there old mobile plan and this was last night when they did it.

    • Update:
Ended up getting a new Esim code and it worked, they are having trouble with their QR codes apparently.
Customer support was good once again, can not fault that.
