    Hi Yomojo,

If we sign up via a referral link, that grants a $30 credit according to your promo, if we say select the 40Gb plan as a port-in, does that mean it's first 2 months for free?

    Thanks

    • Referral credits take up to 72 hours to process, you will pay for your first month.

Using your example, month 2 and month 3 would be $0.00

      • That sounds like a great offer, is both the referral and 50% off plan expire on the 30/6?

        • The 50% off promo will end 30th of June.

The referral program will be reduced back to $20 per referral from the 1st of July.

          • @Yomojo: How do we see the referral discount or if it is accepted?

            • +1

@Turd: Early next week we will readd the account balance feature in the old dashboard, so it will show up there.

              • +1

@Yomojo: Could you let us know when the account balance has been added?

                • @jackofspade: It's in progress and will be added back ASAP.

                • +1

@jackofspade: It will be pushed live with updates to the dashboard tonight.

  • Network wise is this the same as other optus’ mvno? Amaysim/coles/catch

    • Yep.

      • Front page of Yomojo mobile plan says '4G'.
It's a deal breaker for me. I'm looking for '5G'.

        • Most 5G plans at our price points are limited to 100Mbps or best 150Mbps, which is the same speed we offer….

    • +1

I think amaysim now has 5G, but Yomojo is only 4G?

For customers already on the previous three month 50% promo, you will automatically receive six months at 50% off if you ported an existing number across. Emails to customers to receive the extended promo will be sent 14/5/25.

So, as a customer who is still under the 3 months 50% off promo, it will be auto extended to 6 months?

That's great customer service. It's very rare to see a company look after their existing customer base like this.

    • +6

Yes, it is the right thing to do for those customers who have joined us.

An email will be sent out tomorrow confirming this in writing to our porting customers.

Is there data banking for unused data?

    • Not at the moment, it's a feature that we hope to release soon.

  • Does changing to a different plan during the half-price period void the promo?

    • +1

      No.

      • Will it void cashback if you change from a bigger plan to lower plan?

        • That's really not in the spirit of the cashback offer….

Appreciate the insight, we will have to adjust the T&Cs of the cashback offer/reduce the fee to a fixed one.

  • How can I get a referral link?

    • It's not a link. It's just a mobile number

      • Thanks. How to get one?

@jackofspade: Requested twice but nothing yet

            • @mskhan: Same here. I would like a referral link too

              • @phirippu: You sign up as a customer, activate your service, and give your mobile number to your friends and family.

When they complete their order, the second last step is asking new customers if someone referred them.

                Nice and easy.

Seems like the dashboard has changed and I can't see my account balance anymore

    • It will be back next week.

  • I mean good deal, but same family that started Superloop kinda does not compare to yearly plans from other providers

    • They didn't start Superloop, they were bought by them.

  • I just signed up but it says I got 3 months only for porting in.

Spoke to the sales on the phone and they said the plan doesnt start today. :(

Hmmm but she said she will check it out

    • It starts today, it was announced around 3pm today.

      • Y3ah weird. My sign up email says i get the 50percent for 3 months only

        • +1

Please forward to [email protected] and i'll sort it out.

This has been fixed for future invoices.

  • The service so far as well as the phone support staff at 8pm was really good and professional.

Pretty surprised, better than Telstra support who often go around in circles.

We have invested heavily in hiring and training great people.

If you could spare a moment and do a review on Google and Product Review that would be helpful.

      • Agreed! Customer service from the team has been fast and so friendly and helpful

        • Fantastic to hear!

If you could spend a minute writing a quick review on Google and Product Review that would be appreciated.

  • When do you need to activate sim please ?

    • Within 14 days of ordering.

      • Quick question - can't I delay my activation beyond 14 days and still avail this offer? My current plan (another carrier) doesn’t expire until June 24th, but I’m happy to order Yomojo SIM now which I will activate only upon expiry of my current plan. On Yomojo website, it says 45 days under the plan cards, so I am a bit confused: https://imgur.com/a/yeXOWxN

Also, is there a maximum activation period within which one needs to activate after purchase to qualify for the referral bonus? Thanks!

        • The promo is valid until the 30th of June.

You need to make sure that you entered a valid mobile number for your mate on the order form to qualify for the referral bonus.

          • @Yomojo: Thanks for confirming about the bonus referral deadline. Sorry, it didn't answer my first question. Can I order the Yomojo card today and port my number in on 24th June and still avail 50% off promo? You have mentioned "14 days from order" above, hence checking.

  • Hi, I can see that no international calls on the plans, any chance we can add as a bundle?

    • There will be new plans that will have IDD inclusions, these are going to be deployed the 1st of August 2025.

  • +1

Four months for $9.95 on a 8GB plan (porting in with a $30 referral). A good deal for me.

  • Old customers ineligible? I tried to go through the link, it tells me to go add a service in dashboard instead. I did that, and there's no mention of any discounts whatsoever.

    • When were you a customer?

      • not sure, i think about 8 years ago? +-2

        • +1

Sign up with a different email address.

    • I don't currently have a Yomojo service (but have had previously), but I can still login to the new dashboard. If I add a service it says, "DUE TODAY $0". ???

EDIT: Under "Order Details", it also says $0 against any of the mobile or mobile broadband plans. Only the 4/5G Internet plans seem to result in a dollar value under Order Details, but still nothing due today. ???

If I pull the trigger, am I going to get a freebie? :D

      • No.

  • @Yomojo Could you please confirm how many times can I earn referral credits?

One of the T&C said new account can only earn one referral. How long before an account is considered not new?

    • +1

If a referral has happened before for a number it won't be valid again.

You can however refer as many friends and family members as you like, as long as they have not been a previous referee.

      • Thanks for the clarification.

  • Asking as my current plan finishes in few days. Can I start with esim & later transfer to physical Sim?

    • You can order a replacement SIM anytime you like on the dashboard, it gets sent out next business day.

    • Hey I'm in the same boat, deciding whether to pull the plug and get this sim, how'd this go for you?

      • Not a problem, activated the esim without an issue. Obviously, you phone has been. Compatible. Now i have ordered the physical sim. The customer service was helpful.

  • If you use up all your data for the month, will you just stop getting access to data or do you still allow access but charge based on how much additional data was used for the month?

    • +1

You can always top up with bolt on data packs.

      • If I don't top up with a bolt-on data pack, what happens when I run out of data?

        • The service stops working.

Is cashback still payable on referred orders?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • Hi OP,
Hi, I have a Pay As You Go Yomojo mobile number. Can that service receive credit with referrals? I've had numerous people asking for referral in the past 2 months, probably close to 20, but the credit in my account is still $0.

    • +1

All active customers qualify for the referral program, you can only use the credits for plan renewals.

It's likely these people forgot to include your referral number.

      • Thanks!

  • Got this email from Yomojo, i am still waiting for sim, and was not comfortable sharing my details over email. Did anyone else get this?

    Hi there,

    How are you today?

We have detected that you recently added a new phone service under your account. Can you confirm how many active prepaid mobile services you have?

According to the Telecommunications Act 1997 of Australia, a person is required to provide additional ID when a person is to own or activate more than 4 prepaid mobile services. If you wish to proceed with your SIM card order, please send us 2 primary IDs or 1 primary ID and 2 secondary IDs. You can simple take a photo using your mobile phone and attach it on your reply.

Below are examples of accepted IDs:
    Primary ID
    Australian Driver's Licence
    Australian Passport
Foreign passport with valid entry stamp or visa
    Immicard
    Birth certificate
    Certificate of identity
    Secondary ID
    Bank passbook or bank card
    Medicare card
    Rates notice
    Student ID
    Health care card
    Tenancy agreement
    Seniors card

But if you do not have more than 4 active prepaid mobile services under your name, just let us know.

Kindly include your full name date of birth and delivery address as well on your reply.

    • Do you have five prepaid mobile services?

If not just reply back to us saying that, otherwise we won't be able to activate the new service/s.

      • Ya, i just replied telling that dont have more than 3 connections.

  • With the 50% off promo for porting services would the family discount for multiple numbers still discount off the discounted price as well?

    • Yes.

  • Thanks OP! Cashback tracked instantly!

  • @Yomojo just signed up with new account porting my existing number to 8GB plan. The confirmation email does not say I get 6 months at 50%. In fact, the Plan features says, "Automatically renews for $19.90 every 30 days". Can you please check? Thanks.

    • It's 50% off.

  • I see on the coverage page it says 5G available. Will these plans connect to 5G?

    • The prepaid plans are 4G, the maximum speed on these is actually a lot higher than other 5G plans, which cap speeds at 100Mbps.

      • Thanks makes sense, how long does the porting process usually take ? I am thinking about moving 3 numbers over within my family from Moose Mobile.

        • +1

Normally a few minutes, but worst case an hour or two.

  • +5

Just an FYI for all pro ozbers - it charges a card processing fee even if u use a debit card. The fee was 25c on a $20 order.
