There's also a deal for leasing KIA via them.

    • I went to a dealer today, they said if I order now expect in Sept lol

  • How does this work if my company uses another NL company?

    • probably wont happen as Payroll/ Finance usually wont be bother to do more paperwork.

Sorry OP, it's not personal but my completely terrible experience means I have to neg:

Smart Leasing / Smart Salary are, in my experience, completely and utterly useless. So useless in fact they forgot to set up salary deductions when we purchased a new vehicle. I drew this to their attention but it was ignored. At the time we had a newborn at home so after two emails went unanswered it went to the back of my mind.

When they finally realised / acknowledged there were thousands in lease payments outstanding they wanted to impose harsh repayment terms to cover their own f**kup by garnishing my salary more than double the contracted amount. Ended up having to take them to AFCA, who found in my favour & ended up with money back my way by way of settlement.

I'm of the opinion all leasing companies suck…they're all very smooth & efficient when it comes to selling you the product but after that you're just a number.

Wow thats horrible, especially during such a tough time. Valid neg. Thanks for sharing and will keep this in mind when I do decide to go ahead with them.

If you haven't undertaken a lease before just be aware it isn't all it seems after you finish dealing with the kiss-arse sales people.

I won't quite neg this, but am tempted to.

Firstly, there is no way you can order and receive a BYD vehicle during the promotional period. As I mentioned in the other BYD Leasing deal, I ordered late March, and within days of mentioning the promotion to my BYD sales rep, suddenly delivery was delayed from June to July, and they said I'm no longer eligible.
I asked the SMART sales rep about this promotion and eligibility, but haven't heard back. If, through some miracle, delivery of my vehicle is brought forward, then I still don't know whether I'd be eligible as I ordered before the promotion period.

    • Your uncertainty is valid. Everything points to you getting the deal if your BYD gets delivered early but the question is, what is a vehicle order? Is it the order via BYD when putting down a deposit, or the order placed when requesting a lease from Smart, or something else…?

      • Exactly! i have an order with BYD, but no sale contract. Not even a deposit because I was told they didn't need one for a novated lease.
