Not as good as the usual 6% shop back offer but good to see cashrewards also offering this

$10 for referee and $10 for referrer, after referee makes $20 purchase within 14 days.
No.
I bought $100, got $5.5 cashback.
Do you mean its expired?
Would be great if only it could be used with Ampcharge chargers.
Ampol is really missing an opportunity there to keep those of us who no longer need fossil juice engaged with them.
Just curious if buying the egiftcard here is treated as cash advance on my credit card?
Never happened to me
It has never happened to me either, but I have only used NAB and Westpac credit cards there.
The MCC for Cashrewards' gift card store should be 5999 (Miscellaneous and Specialty Retail Store), which sounds like a MCC for a regular transaction.1
However, I have no idea if a particular credit card issuer has decided that transactions at Cashrewards' gift card store should be treated as a cash advance, regardless of the assigned MCC. The only credit card issuers that would probably contemplate doing this would be Commonwealth Bank and Bankwest (and my rationale for this is explained here).
To me, Mastercard's definition of MCC 5999 sounds like that MCC should be for regular purchases, not cash advances: Retailers that sell unique or specialized products that are not described by any other acceptor business code (MCC). This MCC should be used only when all other MCC assignment options have been exhausted. Examples of such specialty stores include map and atlas stores, firearms and ammunition stores, magic stores, party supply stores, silk flower shops, fireworks shops, ice dealers, picture frame shops, sunglasses shops, beauty supply stores, and bottled and distilled water dealers. ↩
@wookieMonster
do you know why cashrewards does not accept certain payment methods - example some debit cards and the recent mastercard prepaid from Karta as well?
No issues adding either as payment methods on shopback
I had no idea some debit cards do not work on this gift card portal. Which debit cards in particular are you talking about?
In regards to prepaid cards, EonX - the gift card portal operator - appears to reject any payment cards that are reported by Visa or Mastercard as "prepaid" cards. I have no idea the reason EonX seemingly chooses to do this, but it is something that previously happened on other portals operated by EonX (e.g. the old AAMI Lucky Club portal).
@WookieMonster: Ok thanks, without going into the details of the bank it is a salary package debit card which also fails on agl rewards portal (maybe operated by same backend?)
@zooter: Ahhh I see. I suspect the "salary package debit card" you are referring to is actually classified by Visa or Mastercard as a prepaid card. I had a look at three examples (AccessPay, EML Salary Packaging Mastercard from PBI Solutions, salary packaging cards from Beyond Bank), and each webpage mentions that the salary packaging card is functionally a prepaid card.
Anybody confirm if still can be stacked with this
