Edit: Stackable with gift cards, as long as at least $0.01 is via PayTo
The advantage over gift cards is any potential refunds are cash; not back to your gift card balance. The disadvantage is no credit card spend / points.
tl;dr terms:
* One use per user (assume multiple items in cart is fine)
* Sold by Amazon AU products ONLY (no third party sellers, no Amazon UK/Germany/etc)
* Excludes alcohol, gift cards, digital purchases (ebooks and digital subscriptions)
* Excludes delivery (if applicable)
Check the discount amount prior to finalising purchase to be sure.
Not listed on cashback sites; likely doesn't stack. May be better off with cashback depending on category.
This Offer is available from 12.00pm (AEST) 21 May 2025 and ends at the earlier of 11.59pm (AEST) 3 June 2025 or when fully redeemed (“Offer Period”). This Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice. Each eligible Amazon customer can only claim this Offer once.
For the purpose of this Offer, Qualifying Items means any product sold by Amazon AU on Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App and does not apply to:
(i) purchases made from Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Japan, or Amazon Germany on Amazon.com.au even if fulfilled by Amazon AU;
(ii) alcohol;
(iii) gift cards;
(iv) digital purchases such as e-books and subscriptions such as Prime Video and Audible;
(v) postage or delivery rates; or
(vi) Amazon Global Store export orders to be shipped to a New Zealand delivery address.

Worth using once I guess, but the downsides are not worth it in the long run. I exclusively use discounted gift cards these days which give a better discount. And I would rather use my credit card for the points if GC was not an option.
