This one says it's for the Air, in 14" (title) or 13" (text). The photos look like a Pro but the listed dimensions suggest it's for an Air. Could you clarify please?
Well the part number matches the Air on the incase website and one review says it fits the Air, so took a chance. Thanks ;)
Yeah, nah. I wouldn't use this. See this for hardshell cases. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By2Jgf8Vnpo&t=28s
Yeh nah. I doubt that the hinge is that sensitive. If it was, he would surely have shown a device with a defective hinge because of the extra weight …
It's not really a controversial opinion. There's instances all over the net. You're also ignoring it's not just about the weight, it's the lid doesn't close correctly, risking the hinge and screen. But if you want to risk it, go right a head.
Agree. Hard shell cases are garbage and ALWAYS crack. Anyone who disagrees has never used one.
My two high schoolers have hard cases on their airs, and have been replaced once due to being dropped. No damage to computer. I'm happy to replace the cases over repairing the devices.
I’ve had several and they all cracked at the hinge under normal use and never dropped.
Can't see any macbook pro 14" listings
