  • Decent turntable. Good price. Just it's not automatic if that's am important feature to you.

  • +2

With turn tables, manual is a feature.

  • I literally just paid $520 the other day. FFS!

  • So the bluetooth wireless audio is for listening directly with BT headphones?

Also, what does an automatic turntable do that a manual one does not?

How does one know what the final quality of the vinyl to digital transfer will be like, when comparing different turntables? I am guessing that the $120 turntables will not produce as good final result as the more expensive ones?

    • +1

I paid $545 for mine about 3 months ago so this is a good deal. Bluetooth is for connecting to any bluetooth compatible device. I've had mine connected directly to Edifier speakers but the sound degradation is significant. Much better with cable and I've switched. The nice thing about this TT is the built in pre-amp so you can plug the TT directly into active speakers. No amp required. If you don't need BT then save yourself a few bucks and get the one without but it does come in handy every now and then.

Automatic means that the tone arm returns to rest at the end of the record which is very handy. Some automatic TTs will also start playing, no need to manually cue.

  • Might be sold out now

  • I wonder if these sound better than the Sound Burger. I got one not long ago, and it sounds pretty good (along with portable Fiio amp, without that its really not good enough), I wonder if pairing this turntable with the same portable amp would achieve better results than with the Sound Burger.

The SB is good but… I want a little better quality sound.

  • Mine lasted just on 3 years. :(
