  I'm traveling to Japan > Hawaii so would have to get two different eSIMs. With the arrival date question, if I'm going from Japan to the US, should I put the US arrival date a day earlier to allow some sort of crossover from my Japan eSIM to the US eSIM?

    Thanks for your question. Kindly note the Japan and Hawaii are two different eSIMs:
    - Japan eSIM: We will email you a QR code for installation
    - USA Hawaii eSIM: We will provision the eSIM onto your phone automatically when you arrive in USA / Hawaii. (We require your phone's IMEI and EID on the order, and setup information will be emailed to you)

    Once you land in japan you can activate while you walk to immigration

    Most esims activate within few minutes

    In any event you can get free sims in most Japanese airports to try

  would i be able to activate Japan esim, change esim (to USA) midway, and then go back to the already activated Japan esim?

    Thanks for your question. Yes, you can "turn off" or "disable" the Japan eSIM when you go to USA, and then when you return to Japan, you can turn it on or enable it again.

    Please do not delete the Japan eSIM when you go to the USA, as you may not be able to reinstall the Japan eSIM again.

      If you only have one eSIM slot though which is occupied by the Japanese eSIM, do you have to delete it to install the US eSIM?

        Hi @Pawski,

        Most phones do support multiple eSIMs installed into the phone, but they usually allow 1 or 2 eSIMs to be active at a time, so you need to turn off or disable the other installed eSIMs.

        For example, an iPhone 13 support 2 active eSIMs, while you can install another 6 eSIMs but they need to be turned off. You do not need to delete the 6 eSIMs and they will stay in the phone, and you can turn on any one of them when required.

        Each phone model is different but most work in similar fashion. Please check your phone's specification or let us know your phone model and we can assist.
