    “High speed compatible”
    Is a bit misleading

    • -3

When referring to USB speeds, "High speed" means 480 Mbit/sec or USB 2.0, which is the max speed capable for this cable apparently.
Personally not a fan of Anker stuff, mediocre quality.

      • Which brand do you recommend instead?

      • Hello, would you mind sharing some alternative brands that are of higher quality for a fair price?
        Thanks.

I would rank Anker on par with blitzwolf, ugreen etc. Ugreen USB-C 1m 100w cable is is currently ~$9.76 on aliexpress. But will probably be cheaper if you keep an eye out for sales etc.

I'm surprised to hear you call them mediocre. Would be curious about your experience because I have found them the most consistent on Quality Control compared to their peers. Ugreen tries to keep up but usually only wins on price. Blitzwolf is hit or miss.

        • I've got Blitzwolf USB-A to C and USB-C to C cables from 3-4yrs ago and haven't had any issues with them..

      • What's the highest quality brands if Anker is mediocre, genuinely asking I just don't know what other brands are higher. Cheers
        I like ugreen lol

        • Every time I go looking for cable recommendations, Anker rates highly for durability compared to other common brands.
I generally buy ugreen for price.

tbh I can't find recommendations for anything else. Most of the cables I see advertised turn out to be overpriced crap or stupidly expensive.

        • Essager 100W USB Type C To USB C Cable is one of the good one i have, i use it for my VR setup, it is 3m long , i paid like 12$ , it is braided and very good quality. anker might be the best charger brand, I do have a lot of random brand cables that are very good, this is just one of them thats next to me.

  • I bought a 3 pack of this https://www.amazon.com.au/Premium-Lightning-2-Pack-Certified…? in 2020 and all of them are still working, I swear by Anker ever since. At least the Nylon one is good.

    • $40 for one cable?
      Bleagh.

      • That listing is not to show the price as a deal, I recogn I got a 3 pack for $29.90 or around there, of course that was a couple years back

fyi equal ATL - previously same price :)

    • Thanks. Interesting that Camelx3 now states 25th May 2025 as the date for the ATL. Is it because there was limited stock on 8th May as per the limited stock post?
