Underwhelming is usually the theme of these baby expos
Went there stroller shopping. Manufacturer's stall was claiming a huge discount. Was about to pull the trigger and decided to check online prices. Baby Bunting had it cheaper. Spoke with stall and their response was 'why don't you buy it from Baby Bunting then'.

It's just a place to get advertised to. Free ticket is the right price for this.

I went when I was pregnant and honestly, it was a waste of time. I’d been years ago with a friend and back then, all the stalls were handing out samples. But when I went, the best sample I got was a single free nappy from Huggies like, really? Just one?
Same goes for the so-called “show” prices. They’re not that cheap. You can definitely find better deals online if you know what things are worth and keep an eye out.
And if it’s your first baby, trust me you don’t need half the stuff you think you do.
Probably rising cost as it used to be better 7 years ago. Came back full of samples, including a tin of milk powder which donated. Best time to stock up on baby mum mum as from memory $2 for 3 boxes. Similar to good food and wine show, got worst every year.

just remember the "show prices" are not always cheapest.
