It's called shopping addiction.
It might seem silly but it can get very bad.
Other than the excessive amount of clothes showing up to the door, I didn't know my former partner had a serious shopping addiction until a debt collector came for her car.
to be fair a half decent mouse for $10 is a good deal if you need a spare

@Shiroi Okami: If you need to buy something, then that's not shopping addiction. It's when you buy something purely because it's a good deal, or when you make statements like "I didn't even need this yet I still buy, what is happening to me" that you need to assess your behaviour as you may be forming habits that you're unaware of.
Temu, AliExpress, Amazon are all set-up to take advantage of you in this way, as are the platform (Instagram, TikTok, etc) that funnel you to those shopping sites.

I think you're wrong here, the people who buy this cheap junk regret it as soon as they purchase, but feel justified once they know there's someone out there who wanted said junk but missed out.

Plus whether they actually saved money(because they didn't need it and therefore wouldn't needed to spend the $10 in the first place) are still proud of technical savings( any I can't exactly blame them, I'm jelly myself)….

lol can’t believe this mouse is still around. I had the wireless version back in 2011.
This mouse and its brethren gave me massive driver headaches. I kept it in the shed with a sticky note saying "It's not worth it, man" in case I ever remembered about it and tried to fix it.
It worked for several years, then the company went bankrupt and the drivers became unsigned. There are extremely complex guides on how to get old drivers to work on windows 11, maybe. You can definitely be sure that the programming software will not work.
I gave it to a friend to use as a non-programmable mouse, with instructions to just throw the thing out if it gave them the slightest bit of frustration.

I liked all this mouse it was really unique. Heavy though because people wanted to add weight to mice back then. Wasn't MadCatz American and owned by the vulcan eSports manager? I wonder if this is actually old stock because I can't see them being manufactured any more. This would be 8+ years old.

Ive had this mouse since circa 2013 and it stopped working sometime last year, bought another on this deal. I did have some driver issues through out my updates but other than that it's been workhorse. Hopefully I don't have Win 11 issues as stated above.
It's such a cool mouse and such a shame that people just bought it because it's cheap. Sold out, probably because people bought like 20 each or something like that, just because they could. They say they regret it and will probably just leave in the drawer full of cheap stuff they bought because it was cheap. Tough titties if you wanted it!

There’s no point in me trying it out, deciding I don’t like it, and letting it sit in a drawer.
