Being excluded in the T&C's, doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work, which was the case here. In case that is where the confusion lies.

Definitely not around midnight. I purchased a little before 9am and got the scratch reward.
Same here, standard cashback immediately tracked before 9am. Got screenshots showing number of participants before and after the transaction at 8:50am and 8:59am.
