Original post: Really good price for the 14.6" Ultra at the moment. Trade in required, of course. The price in the title is with the $500 trade in bonus applied. So if you're trading in a $10 galaxy watch you'd pay $1064.25 on the main store.

You may be able to get additional vouchers for the regular store through Samsung chat.

You may be able to get an additional 5% off for your first purchase through the Samsung Shop app, but it isn't coming up for me in the main store.

    Got 2 of these in our home. Insanely excellent tablet. Favourite things to do with it is enjoy next level YouTube. Great for games. Stremio + Real Debrid for public domain content. Can't fault it.

          I don't see a need to upgrade really, I can stream pc games 1440p 120hz easily at really low (9-15ms) lings.

          Waiting for them to revive the galaxy view, would kill for an 18" tab

        For me, superior AMOLED 120Hz display, rich sound with quad speakers, smooth performance with Snapdragon chip, lighter, more portable design. Ultra-responsive S Pen, transform into a desktop via Samsung DeX, all-day battery life, better cameras, optional 5G, and access to a full mobile app ecosystem. Streaming, gaming, drawing, or multitasking, does more of what I actually want. Faster, sleeker, and more enjoyably. Personally I match it with a Poetic TurtleSkin Case and the only thing I don't like is it renders my S25 Ultra basically useless. Barely use calls so S25 feels like a bad joke after some time with the enormous screen. I'm Gen X so I my eyes appreciate the experience, that's probably a big part of it.

            way back before I purchased it and it's far superior now thanks to some serious updates.
            I did a lot of research and was confident I'd love it way more than the iPad Pro flagship.
            But worth watching a long video like this if you really want to see if it'll suit you. Even if you watch at double speed..Hard to imagine a better tablet exists, if it does, I've never heard of it.

            @tnarg: it's a great tablet. the only issue is that it's too big to hand hold. a stand is a must. also the keyboard case is over $300

        I guess for me it's YouTube on my S10 Ultra Tablet vs. my S25 Ultra. 🤣 I watch heaps of DJI POV drone videos so that experience is the next level part. I was born in the 70s so next level doesn't take much. 😂

    yeah the extra 100$ trade in codes I got some time back for s25 edge release apply fine to this as well

    they start with CLS

    EB4 code doesn't apply

    chat gave me a CLE code but it removes CLS one. best price I get is 894.25 with $10 watch trade in. not bad

      You sure you aren't looking at the Plus model? I checked edu before posting and it was the deal price.

      Edit: hmm it's coming up at a different price now in the edu store. It's giving me the additional 5% for the Shop app now and it's down to $921.33 minus trade in value.

      the best i got is $949.25 after $75 trade in + $50 EOFY code ($1574 - $500 trade-in bonus -$75 trade in -$50= $949.25). How did you get to $863 in edu store?

        EDU store price is $1,469.30 for the 256gb Tab S10 Ultra. Discounts of $500, $50, trade in value and 5% for using the Samsung Shop app.

        $1,469.30 - $500 - $50 - $10 = $909.30
        $909.30 x 0.95 = $863.83

        Are you sure you're in the edu store and not in the main store? It often defaults back to the main store if you aren't careful.

    What note taking apps or productivity apps do people actually use on these android tablets in a uni environment

    I want to put my android lenovo tablet to use in that way but really haven't. Just been a nice youtube etc entertainment device for the most part. Alomg with the occasional browsing

      Both Samsung Notes and Noteshelf are excellent note-taking applications, and both were pre-installed on my Tab S8 Ultra.

          I found the best option was to edit pdf files directly rather than using any app. I would insert a blank page if necessary.

          It runs well, but like most apps the apple version is better

            @boretentsu: It can be finicky sometimes. I'd recommended using the Samsung Shop app. You'll probably get an extra 5% discount for doing that anyway. When you're in the edu store in the app there's a big banner at the top of the app confirming that.

            But I checked before and the edu price hasn't changed.

    Great device. Its a little awkward though. Bigger and heavier than my X1 Carbon.

    Not as practical given OS.

    I bought two of these earlier in the year at a similar price due to an Amex discount that was available then.

    Really happy with them. Use it as a general tablet , to watch tv when I am gaming or as a second screen on my pc

    Great quality screen, powerful and with the keyboard case makes it a decent compute device. Almost half the price of the iPad Pro 13 hence decided to grab 2

    My S8 Tab has better specs then this one going by comparison reviews. Unusual for an older model to have the better specs was looking at a trade but if no improvement in performance will give it a miss
