I came across this kettle and was wondering if this is a good deal. Seems to be fully stainless steel with no plastic. Seems about as good as the Philips 7000?

  I have been using this kettle for at least 1 year. I am not really sure what to say though.
  All I can say is it works well for me. I haven't used the Phillips7000.

  I got some lime scale fairly quick into its use, but a bit of vinegar got rid of it well enough (bicarb was less effective).

  I don't know if insulation is something that reviewers harp on about, but the water does lose its heat fairly quickly in the kettle, though relative to what? These are not metrics I really think about. I just buy a kettle that works as advertised etc.

  And this one works as advertised. The temperature control is very responsive, the build quality is fine.
