How can local retailers even compete with this?

    • +3

Build a prebuilt PC and call it like some $hundreds off

    • ebay been flooded with these cpus, many are reselling for $300 a pop. if don't sell within 90 days they just return to Ali for refund.

  • +3

Wow now thats just awesome and after $18 Top cashback it brings it down to $186

I've already ordered two of these from this store. They both came in.. first one took 3 weeks second one just under 2 weeks.
I have them sitting in a draw..

    $227AUD + 14% top cashback - $30 = $197AUD Total

    $223AUD + 10% top cashback - $18 = $205AUD Total

Now i'm tempted to get another.. For what reason.. no idea :) .. Can always re-sell them off for $220 used local to anyone anytime ASAP

    • Wow that might be again down the line

I barely even like to sell my stuff anymore with the chance that i might need it one day or shortages happen and prices spike haha

    • What's a good cooler for this?

  • Is this store genuine

    • +1

They have sent us all the CPU's and no one has reported back saying they didn't get their CPU. I got my two from 2 separate deals over 1 month.
Just pay with Paypal and claim any issue with them if your worried.

      • Is paying with PayPal always the way.

I have issues with aliexpress sometimes only showing paypal pay in 4 on the app.

What is aliexpress criteria or system to show the PayPal option?

        • +1

I click paypal pay in 4 on my PC. .. it takes me to the confirmation screen and then i select pay full amount NOT pay in 4

I just posted this earlier but has anyone run 3dmark on their 7700? I have and getting below par results. Not sure why

I have a Aussie retail Ryzen 7600 and i get below par results when i compare it to other Ryzen 7600 CPU's on the CPU-Z Benchmark Validator website
5-10% up and down is normal because it could be anything.. RAM brand, Ram speed & timings, Motherboard. drivers, AMD AGESA BIOS Update, Your PC background running apps, windows updates, room temp, CPU cooler..The list is endless.

Anyones donwload CPU-Z and after you run the CPU benchmark click submit and conpare your score to other peoples Ryzen 7700 CPUs

Dont bother with 3DMark. Thats more of a GPU benchmark

    • PBO and ram speed will be the biggest /quickest methods here to increase score.

My 5600x was the same without PBO. I don't remember what I landed on, but with a moderate offset I ended up exactly where I'd expect to be vs online listing's and benchmarks. Specifically, I was always 1000 points behind an older Cinebench run til I enabled PBO. Ram is just ensuring its running its rated speed/timings best as possible (ideally just enabling the profile, but ram and ryzen can sometimes be finicky)

      • Are there any good value ram you can recommend for the 7700?

        • Afaik your best bet for simple/stable ram is 6000mhz CL28. Lower timings will cost you a lot more I believe. Something from corsair or g skill honestly whatever is rated at that speed and suits your budget and profile requirement (remember taller ram interferes with some coolers and itx builds..)

Also stay with 2 sticks. If your board supports 4, still stick to 2. 4 sticks on ryzen is often harder to get stable. For most people 16*2 is best. 32gb is the new 16gb!

  • Does anyone know if last mile delivery is with AusPost - can be delivered to a parcel collect location? Thanks

    • yes. they use morning global which does not give me a local delivery number until literally when it entered my parcel locker, but it arrived just as timely as any other ali parcel

      • Thanks. Bit impatient so ordered first, hopefully I can get a tracking number from Morning Global to redirect it

    Thanks bought

Just bought one before the price jump. Thanks OP. I think I might have stuffed up when clicking from TopCashback and buying using Aliexpress app. I'm guessing it won't get tracked if bought through the app

    Update: it tracked. Happy days!

  • Strange invoice total on receipt says 191.73 usd but I was charged 132 USD on PayPal

    • Would 191.73 be the non sale price?

  • +1

    Bought one, thank you!

Can anyone suggest a good budget mATX board with WiFi, and decent vrm for future upgrades if possible?

    • +1

MSI B650M Gaming PLUS WiFi ~$209(used to be $199 everyday)
      ASUS TUF B650M-E WiFi ~$219
Gigabyte B650M AORUS Elite AX on $269

      • Gaming plus wifi is 170 at Amazon

        • MSI b650m gaming plus wifi?

            • @paulaus: Do you have the link? I can't find it

                • +2

@paulaus: Pretty poor VRM, I think MSI B650M-a WiFi is better for 188.

                • @paulaus: Don't buy Gigabyte B650M Gaming or Gaming PLUS. Completely trash

                  • @Meteor Anarcom: Any thoughts on ASRock B650M PG Lightning vs these ($169 at scorptec)? I've been a happy Asrock user in the past so slight bias.

                    • +1

@blighst: See my comment at another deal. I would say it is even worse than MSI B650M Gaming WiFi which is also available at $169 and had been $159.

                      • @Meteor Anarcom: Great thanks, will pass - is the Gaming Plus wifi substantially better than Gaming Wifi? Not budget constrained, more just don't want to overpay for something that's not really worth it.

                        • +1

@blighst: The only thing making MSI B650M Gaming PLUS WiFi not good is that in the last year it had a daily price even lower than current promo price. If you plan to upgrade your CPU, the PLUS definitely worth the extra $40. Be aware it is not Gigabyte Gaming PLUS

                          • @Meteor Anarcom: Any thoughts on this board thanks
                            Gigabyte B650M D3Hp Ax

                            • @paulaus: Don't even consider Gigabyte's low end motherboards unless less than half price than RRP

                              • @Meteor Anarcom: I have seen this for 121 delivered is that acceptable.

                                • +1

@paulaus: Not bad compared with Gigabyte Gaming and Gaming PLUS. If you are using 7500F/7600(X)/8400F/8500G and don't plan to upgrade CPU, then it is just fine.

                                  • @Meteor Anarcom: Any thoughts on Asrock B850M-X compared to your recommendations of MSI B650M Gaming PLUS WiFi or Asus TUF GAMING B650M-E? Asrock is $199. MSI and Asus under $200 with Shopback cashback and bank bonus.
I'm looking for something with USB C front and rear so some of the cheaper ones are out.

                                    • +2

@8azinga: $199 is not a good deal for ASRock B850M-X WiFi. It is worse than MSI Gaming PLUS and ASUS TUF -E

      • I see the ASUS and MSI you recommended both $199 at Umart, any preference for one over the other?

  • Does this come with fan?

    • No, not even the box

      • -2

Not even the CPU in some cases.

        • if you buy from a fake seller with 0 reviews and no rating :)

          • @vid_ghost: Even on Amazon from a seller with good reviews.

It's become such a thing it's now called the Amazon lottery.

    • Oh you, tee hee

  • I'm currently running an i5 11400 with a 3080. Is it worth upgrading?

    • If your CPU is limiting you in anything then sure.

  • Any recommendations for a cheap CPU fan for this .

  • Nice ATL, be aware shipping is quite slow with these guys 2 weeks+ compared to 1 week choice shipping.

  • This or the 7500f?

    • +1

This 100% it's like 5usd more, it's a no brainer at this price

    • +1

If you ever need to unpack a repacked game definitely this, 25-30% faster times

    • +1

Basically same price so this, has 2 more cores and an iGPU just in case.

  • Really torn, I've got to upgrade my PC in the next few months.

While I think I want this CPU, but I'm not set on exactly which other parts I want to go with (especially the case).

Not sure if I should just buy it and put together the other stuff slowly… It'd be an issue though if I decided on another CPU even though I know this is basically the best value one around by far right now.

    • +1

That's what I did but the other way around and got the CPU last lol just do it man this price is bonkers

      • +1

Best price ever for this type of CPU at this time in ita life cycle.

    • +1

There won't be a better value CPU than this for a while, unless you want/need X3D then buy this.

      • Yeah the X3D models are a bit too much of a price jump for what I need.

You're right that there probably won't be a better value CPU, its just a bit of a pain I'll need to work out all the rest of the parts fairly quickly so I can confirm the CPU is working before the 30 day returns window closes.

        • It's 90 day return window, does start from order date not delivered date however.

          • @zachhambo: Ah I was talking about this part "AU$1.00 coupon code if delayed · Refund if package lost · Refund if items damaged · Refund if no delivery in 30 days"

But now that I reread it they're actually not specific about the damaged items part being 30 days so you're probably correct

            • @HolyFosh: Yes I believe the 30 days is for the refund if you don't get the package by then.

  • Am I missing something? I'm getting $175.99 USD on the product page.

edit: ah, price is way higher if shipping to NZ

    • Only the AUD Price can be purchasesd at a low price now

  • Can anyone suggest a good itx mobo to pair with ?

    • I got lucky with the march sales got a maxsun b650 ITX for $156 incl GST they're like $250-279 here if you can get a good price for it it's not a bad motherboard

      • Can you share link please?

      • Warranty VS no warranty gamble :) i would say a $100 saving is worth it. Some may not

        • Well I am already gambling with the cpu so let’s make it all a game 😂

      • please dm me as well thank you :)

  • So GST on $185 AUD is $27 apparently

    • Ha yes, common AliExpress thing nothing you can really do about it

    • Yep.. it should be $18.50 not .. I'm guessing the extra is AliExpress CUT !

  • +1

    thank you OP
Finally bought this after several 7700 posts, as I'm not sure whether to do or not.

Planning to upgrade from my old trusted i5 6500 and build the next mix use pc with my kids,

Thanks, but pushing price up 10% probs makes this less of a raced purchase… should be no problems with this vendor either?

@vid_ghost: Eh screw it, missed the great bargain but still good enough. TY

            • @blighst: $10 more isnt going to hurt! :) .. you still getting back $18 from TOPcashback

        • The price on this deal for me was $185 AUD + $27 in fee's = $212… so its only $10 more @ $222 .. still an amazon price .. the last two deals were not as good as $222 *when checking out in AUD dollar

          • +1

@vid_ghost: ~$215 on my 0 FX card paying in USD :)

            Thanks

I had my first experience with purchasing CPU from AliExpress store (Computer Hardware Global Store) and bought 7700 a couple months back and it's been working great.
Just comes in a small brown cardboard box with CPU in clear plastic enclosure. No fans etc Just CPU.

Just for people who haven't ordered from AliExpress and have doubts. Just follow the high rating :)

  • Argh, Topcashback didn't track mine. First time it's happened to me. Hopefully it will show up in the next seven days.

  • +1

no longer avaailble at this price

    • Still fairly close. I'm seeing USD $134.30 .

      • That's pre tax

        • True mb, forgot about that.

  • Does anyone know if these 2 will work together ok?

    G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 and the Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2

    • +1

      Should be perfect

    • Double check the motherboard with the ram, https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B650-AORUS-ELITE-AX-V2/…
Select 'Ryzen-7000 series cpu'(in blue font) and check the ram's model number against the list. Easier if you click the 'Download PDF' button and search through the whole list. Usually if a 16gb is supported then 32 or 64gb sticks should be fine. I would do this first unless you're buying from Amazon or have easy returns.
