    Erin's favourite?

    • +10

Nope, need to buy the Erin special from an Asian grocery store in magical mushroom land

Erin's in denial she is guilty.

        • +5

No, no, no. Erin is innocent. It's 8 other people who are all lying or misremembering everything.

            @Typical16-bitEnjoyer: no sarcasm / needed. .

@Typical16-bitEnjoyer: you forgot the 3 who had the audacity to die rather than make up a convincing story!

          • @Typical16-bitEnjoyer: Well they've made a case she picked mushrooms which she already admitted a week ago. The murder thing, without any evidence or motive, they seem to be going for a TV style gotcha moment on the stand. So it's a race now to see if Erin picks jail over another month of questioning, the prosecuter drops dead, or the jury screams for mercy.

        • What is she guilty of? Cooking a meal? A succulent mushroom meal!?

Think these will be better for a beef wellington

Mass-produced fried foods may undergo oxidation before packaging. After frying, they are exposed to air during cooling, inspection, and transport. This contact with oxygen speeds up fat oxidation, affecting taste and quality. Additionally, reused frying oil increases oxidation risk.
Eating oxidized fried foods regularly may not be great for health. Oxidation can create harmful compounds that may increase inflammation and contribute to aging or chronic diseases. Reused frying oil can worsen the effects, making the food less nutritious.

  • Costco is cheaper if you have membership

    • How much is it there?

      • $9.99 for bag of 225g

        Coles is $3 a 65g bag

Around the same if you buy 3 from Coles 🤔

@superforever: A little less quantity, but more convenience and freasher.

Down side a bit more plastic waste for those who care.

          • @superforever: around the same but I would wait until Costco one goes on sale

Blimey! A mushroom chip? Wonders never cease. What it taste like? Like a dried, crispy mushroom?

    • +3

      probably a pretty safe bet

    • Pretty much. It has the flavour of shiitake (unsurprisingly), but with a light savoury vegetable seasoning. I think they're quite nice, but it depends on your tastes and how adventurous you are

    • Tastes like chicken
