Fashion designer watches are mostly rebranded Japanese quartz so can be had quite cheaply.

    • Sorry, what do you mean?

  • Received mine today. Not happy it was left sticking out from the letter box when previous orders from DB were delivered to my door and required a signature.

The watch comes in a nice solid black gift box. The Watch is tagged, and comes with an instruction manual.

    • What's your verdict unity1, is it genuine?

      • +1

I'd say based on the quality of th item in front of me, and knowing who is behind the website this was purchased from, I would have to say yes, but I'm no expert.

It wasn't that long ago Target was selling fake MAC cosmetics, so you never know.

        • I just received my watch yesterday (1512598). After looking at the quality and packaging of the box, I really have my doubts that this watch is genuine. There is no authenticity card supplied with the watch and no stamped warranty card? The warranty booked isn't stamped like usual from the seller with selling date etc. the crown is flimsy and has a play when changing time. So I have contacted doorbuster customer service to check these issues.

        • Additionally I will go to Myers on Sat to check a few of the hugo boss watches to compare.

        • Interesting, please keep us informed.

        • Yeah, I'd be interested to know aswell, thanks!

I got my watch today, and it looks pretty legit! I ordered the 1512455, and compared it to the Hugo Boss watch I have from Myer and I really can't see any differences in terms of quality, engraving etc, only thing missing is like the warranty card etc, but it does have the booklet etc.

        • It's most likely a grey import. They don't stamp the warranty card as warranty would be inhouse. Higher end watches have their serial numbers drilled out too.

I don't think there's a very strong market for replica Boss watches so I'm fairly certain that you're all safe.

        • Has serial number engraved on the back of the watch.

        • Relax guys.. From the quality of the watch I think it satifies as a genuine for a Hugo Boss watch (not a luxury watch of course). And if we compare it to the photo displayed on Amazon UK for the watch they are EXACTLY the same (even the position of the engravings on the back!) except the serial number of the watch (which obviously should be different). This is my third transaction with Doorbuster and I am all satisfied. So confident that I used my AMEX card to pay for my last 2 transactions instead of paypal. I do have doubts about the warranty though. I may call their repair centre in melbourne listed on the warranty book to clarify

        • Yes, I would imagine that the Boss watches would still have serials intact. I was just saying that high end makes such as Tag/Omega/IWC/JLC etc. have the serials drilled out of them because each of these watches literally cut thousands of dollars out of the local supply chain and the AD's who sell them grey would have supplies cut.

  • Still waiting.

  • placed an order on 16th jan 4pm. order still processing.

Not sure if this thread is dead or not. I bought the (1512598) too, I received it the next day too so I was really happy with that. I opened it and the packaging it came in was legit, the instruction manual, the tags were all correct etc. I verified the number that was etched on the back and that matched up with things on the internet. As for its authenticity, I would happily say yes, yes it is real, and I am alot happier paying 180$ for this watch as opposed to 300-800 (Myer) as this is simply not worth that kind of money.

    • Lucky you. Mine only "packed" from Sydney warehouse yesterday and don't know when it is going to arrive Perth.

    • Yes, probably that's the main thing that this watch is not worth $799 as at myer… It's just an ordinary watch which doesn't look or feel like the RRP suggests. Secondly I would prefer a Nixon over this watch any day… Really disappointed by Hugo Boss!!
