  • Just check that they can connect you. I went to my mobile app and clicked on NBN and they wrote "amaysim NBN is unavailable at your address." I'm in Adelaide and have FTTP, just wondering if that has anything to do with it. Need to change from Tangerine in two weeks as my six-month deal finishes.

    • also on FTTP and says not available, Sydney 2112. Never had an internet plan 'not available' from a provider, they may have just shut it down from this deal

      edit: tried another dummy address and it worked, although OPs deal isnt there. 100/20 is showing as $0 first month, $80 next 5 months, $90 after that

    Can’t apply discount over the phone regardless, needs to be completed online so a valid link would be required I guess

  • Man Opticomm sucks. No deals with them.

    • If you're after 25/10 speed, $53.90/month (ongoing cost) is the best price I have found for Opticomm, this long-running deal has Opticomm and NBN at the same price:

      But other than that single deal, yeah Opticomm sucks. At least $5/month more expensive than equivalent NBN in nearby suburbs.

    Surprising I’ve got 4x $40 sim plans with them and don’t have the offer. Only one month free or $10 off the $85 plan for the first 6months.

    deal is showing up for 0 people, I would almost want a screenshot to even believe it. I doubt Amaysim would lose that much over 6 months to gain a customer.

    Tried using the above links to get the deal. It shows up with the correct pricing but the moment you start clicking Pay Now, it defaults to the "$10 off" plan.

  • It's actually 250/22, not 250/25 for $45/m

      nbn Superfast = 250/25. In reality it can reach about 270/24.

      250/22 is the TES (typical evening speed) from Amaysim 7pm to 11pm.

    Didn't sign up for this, but a month ago, was sent an email with same offer. Signed up, but was charged at different price, had to contact support to get refund and price adjustment. Glad I had the email as they're asking me to spend proofs.

  • my internet has been dodgy on amaysim, first i had really slow upload speed, like <1Mbps, this was due to an
    "Alarming optical node", which got fixed and i had fast internet again for a month, now back to the same problem…

    Not sure if this is telco choice or infrastructure related.

    This is just a wild guess, but maybe the offer is targeted only to existing Amaysim customers on a plan. The way Amaysim is able to offer this price is by bundling the mobile and NBN together. In reality they are just discounting the mobile plan (because that is where they can save money), and not discounting the NBN plan by much. E.g. 50% off $80/mo NBN is $40, and if the existing customer is already paying $40/mo for their mobile plan, that customer would be eligible, because the overall bundle would still be $80/mo.

    Had a chat with Assysim. Was asked for the mail or the mail id on which the mail was received. BS!

    It worked for me, but I'm an existing mobile customer. As of today am pretty happy to be saving $50/month on my NBN!

    Well, technically it is via my wife's plan, who is paying $30/month (total) for two separate prepaid plans - one $25/month plan for herself and a $60/year plan for my son.

  • Let me go the whole way adding my details and charged me $45, but says the cart is broken.

    A good way to make money off people… pretty poor behaviour

  • I tried twice, using existing account and new account, both ended up with "cart is broken"… waste of time - and now I have to check whether they charge me $30 or $70 to my PayPal or credit card.

    It is not a deal - more like a bug in their IT system.

    I went on amaysim portal, enterted 15 digit AVC

    went all the way up until pay now and couldnt find where to enter the code?

    it only took $90 of the first month, for nbn 100 meaning $0 for first month

    however would really like the 100/20 $40/M deal

    what am i doing wrong?
