    WHERE THE BLACK AT

Use code 'TJUN2025' for an extra 5% off

    • Do you have a link to the T&C/similar for this one? When I try to use it, I just get a 'sign in or link rewards card' error. I'm both signed in, and my Everyday Rewards card is linked to the account.

      • i cant seem to get it to work either

    • The promotional code you entered is not valid.

Can also get it at Officeworks with the price beat on $236.55

  • I bought 2 years ago for $270. I think in 2025 it is outdated without hall effect mechanical buttons

Real hard to recommend one of these with the battery life as poor as it is. If you're a heavy gamer it won't last a full day.

    • I've been playing a bit of far cry 6 with one for the past month or so. And while i love the controller. Yeah. The battery after 3 or 4 hours it needs charging. No biggy for me though. I just plug the phone charging cable in it and its good

Someone educate me why is a controller $330?

    • +1

I remember you used to be able to buy the whole PlayStation console with controller for this kind of price when on sale.
Sony obviously know there are people with too much money to spend.

    • Someone educate me why is a controller $330?

Because your only alternatives to the official DualSense controllers and the DualSense Edge, are licensed controllers that cost almost as much as (if not more than) the DualSense Edge.

And that's the way PlayStation wants it.

  • No black one?

Can’t decide if I want black or white tho

Think I’d go black as I’ve read the white one gets yellowing on the rubber grips

In as much as this is a good price for an Edge controller I can't really recommend the product itself; 100% can corroborate reports that the battery life is pretty bad (generally you'll get ~3-4 hours, as stated), and the latching mechanism for the USB cable if you plan to leave it in is very chunky. Also, to say I've not used mine very much since I picked it up in 2022, the silicone grips on the controller handles have peeled back slightly and are bubbling where the adhesive is breaking down which looks kind of gross and these seemingly cannot be replaced. The best thing I can say is that it is much more comfortable to use compared to the regular DS5, after swapping out the sticks for the convex analogue sticks (god I hate the trend towards concave caps), and the rear buttons/paddles were nice to have for remapping eg. the run button in Elden Ring, but it's not worth $250 for a controller that can only be used with the PS5; granted I'm not the type of competitive player to whom the Edge is really targeting, but if you are you'll probably also be let down by the lack of hall effect sticks.

    • I read about the grip going yellow on the white version so I thought the black was the way to go but now you are saying the rubber grip starts to come off easy?

      Wow putting me off

      • Can't say mine has discoloured significantly from the time I've spent using it, but yeah the adhesive has started to degrade in the manner depicted here:

        • Yer that’s not good
So it happens on the black one too?

          • @Twisty: Can't confirm either way, but I'd err on the side of presuming Sony not updating their manufacturing process.

            • @Proliferation: Yer and just the colour which would be a fix the the discolouration but not the peeling / bubble issue

    • It makes an excellent controller for the Steam Deck - the only controller with rear buttons and dual touch pad function.
