They count & honour it based on pickup/collection date, so I would say yes, though I haven’t done this myself. Good thinking, double dip for next week’s 4th week offer
EDIT: why don’t u aim for Tuesday pickup as well hoping for any double dips 😎
The weekly spend promotions always have the disclaimer that they must be placed and collected in the relevant weekly dates to count. So would be interested to know if someone has had this work. That said I had a $20 off $100 spend online this week and was able to use this with the $10 off. Bringing and order of about $112 down to $82, however in that was a free tetly tea offer so less another $5.20. And eggs were out of stock so less another $11.80. Ended up being billed $66.20. Even though the final bill less than $100 I still received the $20 discount. Plus when I collected there was a peel and win offer for $10 off next online $50 spend before the 23rd.
From what avenue did you get the 20 off 100? "I had a $20 off $100 spend online this week" and was able to use this with the $10 off.
Is it 2 coupon codes applied?
@odb: Yes, two coupon codes. The $20 off $100 was targeted due to it being a while since i had shopped online.
There's a free 2L coke offer too. Not sure if that can stack
Your lucky, good work
I wonder what the official policies are like between different stores
One retailer i had my discount retrospectively removed pro rata for out of stock items ( bonus for min spend amount) , pissed when that happened, also some discount removed also due to odd number on multi buy also
My spend on this was not showing in my flybuys activity and therefore I’m worried my min spend for this week is not being taken 🧐
Have you collected the order as the receipt will show if minimum weekly spend recorded?
I'm not who you replied to, but when I collected my online order it didn't have receipt.
@CodeXD: Same here.. I did not get receipt for online purchases.. can get invoice from online, but it does not say anything any flybuys points.
Called Cole’s customer care but they hand balled me to contact flybuys who works on Monday-Friday.. well not sure if my week 3 spend is eligible as its ends on Sunday.@chrisharry53: I've been checking flybuys app to see if it qualified for bonus flybuys… nothing in there. Doesn't even have my online order even tho it is linked lol
@CodeXD: You need to look in Coles App as FiDad said. It shows all in store and online orders within a day or so of shop/collection/delivery.
I would like to, but this flybuys promotion I am using a flybuys account with a made-up name.
Anyone know if it's one coupon per account?
I.e. Can I use my sisters account to redeem if she's going to redeem as well?
Screenshot says 1 per customer so should be per account.
use DELIVER10 for delivery orders
Make sure to select a deliver more slot when using the code and make sure the total is at $60 to get the free delivery.
I work for Coles Online in Melbourne. This deal isn't worth it.
If you come for Click and Collect, there's a very good chance you'll be delayed. Anywhere from 15 mins, to 2 hours, we're very busy. This promo is increasing the workload on already overworked employees. Out of stocks, deliveries and rapids make delivering on time almost impossible. Plus employees are rushing, so you may not get the best expiry dates/conditions on items, and if we subistute, you'll get whatever we find in the shelves first
Don't use Coles Online unless you absolutely have to. And if you do, always do partnered delivery, to minimize the chance of waiting hours, or having ur order rescheduled. And make sure u double check ur order for missing items, we try to prevent it, but mistakes do happen.
(profanity) I have a 6am shift in two days :(. Get to look forwards to angry new customers yay. (profanity) my life, (profanity) Coles for this retarded promo. (profanity) customers who can't handle different brands of the same product. (profanity) the damn eggs
Any chance we can get you to ask your boss for a $20 off $50 code?
Thanks for the tips, always inspiring to hear from folks passionate about their work and employer
Most customer service people hate their lives. I don't know what to make of you, if you think we're happy just because we're smiling.
Abusive and angry customers using customer service team members as punching bags certainly don't make your lives easier.
Wait so you mean the smile is fake all this time? Dam that’s harsh.
@nightelves: Idk man. Maybe it's just me. One of my coworkers looks genuinely happy. Or maybe it's just customer service inception, where you think I'm happy, I think she's happy, she thinks someone else is happy so on so forth.
I get that you're angry at the management of Coles, but there's no need to use a slur (r*tarded).
Could have taken the high road and called it a down down promo
Agreed, although I can't get John to cough up on that one as it doesn't officially count as a swear word. Very good use of (profanity) though - kudos sir.
Ty
Retarded isn’t a slur just because a couple of people decided it is. Context matters. Stop trying to censor our speech and grow up.
Stop **ing to cn*** our s***ch and **** up.
Good deal :)
This has not deterred me in the slightest from using this promo.
This is your wake up call to get out of retail. It doesn't get better.
John, you need to find a new job mate, don’t waste life doing something you don’t like.
If you stay there you’ll probably join the union and spend your life rallying against the system you’re in.
If you leave you could be anything you set your mind to.
Ask yourself to imagine where you want to be in 10 years, 20 years, 40 years, and then ask yourself if the decision you make to work at 6am in 2 days is part of your future self image.
Good luck, use the forum here to ask questions to reach your goal, chances are someone might see it who can suggest a better way to get there.Job market is (profanity). If I leave this one, I won't get another. Being broke sucks more than this job, I love my money.
Like most people in the online department, I'm a full time student. But (profanity) you need to be a saiyan to gett a job nowadays. All fields are completely full. But I go to umelb and I get decent marks, so hopefully.
you need to be a saiyan to gett a job nowadays
Japanese for "vegetable person". Is that the only department hiring?
@John Barosa: 😉 I know. But it literally means vegetable person, which I thought suits the fruit and veg dept.
@cramblamwich: I kid you not only Japanese words I know are "Kudasai(think you)" "Ohyaho Gozimous(Good morning)" "Arigato Gozimous(another good morning). And I took Japanese for two years in High School. God bless no student left behind.
@John Barosa: You only know one of those.
Kudasai is "please" when you are requesting something you are entitled to, along the lines of "please (give me)".
Arigato gozaimasu is "thank you" (polite).
Mm. Why do you assume he is in this job for life? Could be a young student working an appropriate job to coincide with study requirements.
I didn’t assume it was a life sentence, I did point out that being there is a choice.
We all have a choice, how we choose to make money, or even if we need to, is up to us and anyone who thinks we dont is bound to be miserable, and I believe this depletes us and robs us of the hours we have left in our life.I was a young student with bills to pay and I hated my job, so I realised at a young age that I couldn’t work doing something I hated and found multiple ventures I liked that honestly back then paid me less and made it tougher to pay bills and live, but I was happy, and eventually turned this thought process into many skills to make more money and ultimately kept my long term goals on track.
John sounds frustrated and I was just a fellow ozbargainer reaching out to say that his job didn’t sound like he’s living his best life and encouraged him to be happier.
A Japanese word to look up John is ikigai
Along with all of the other advice, I suggest deleting this comment if your username is your real name. I assume Coles have a media policy this goes against.
Unless you’re angling to get fired, in which case carry on.
When I buy something I expect the item I selected. I will always select no substitutes. If you don't like the job that's fine but don't blame the customers who would like what they ordered not "you'll get whatever we find in the shelves first". There is probably someone else out there who would do the job without complaining
Are the staff overworked, shitty stock levels, impossible expectations probably is it your fault no is it my fault no. I have a choice if I don't find what I want or like what I see I go somewhere else. You have the choice to do the same thing.
What a terrible attitude that Coles worker has! Saying they're so overworked that they dont care what they put in as substitutes or that they take ages to get your order. Thats the problem with these young people today. Imagine being rushed to do your work lol… Hey welcome to the real world! Get on with it. Not everything is easy and meant to be done at your leisure. Work ethic and pride is really missed in todays workforce.
If u want something done, do it urself. Uni students only care about money.
And nah. If there are 150 items, 5 uber cars downstairs, and only me and a girl on her first shift, I"m blaming management. Maybe hire some more (profanity) people lol. I know for a fact the other departments have much easier jobs, cause they're chillin and chatin.
And yes. We take ages, because we have to check the entire back of the store, and ask random employees, before we're allowed to mark it OOS and make a subsitution. Takes a least 5 mins per items, and if there are 5 missing items, it will take a solid 20 extra mins. I hope ur enjoying ur quality lol.
Work ethic and pride were never valued, let's be real. I expect a boomer to understand that lol.
@John Barosa: Is it because you’re new to the job and aren’t up to speed yet? How long have you been doing this role ?
@cloudy: I"ve been here for a while. Don't want to risk my job, so I can't say.
But 2 hour delays happen in shifts, even when I'm not there, so don't pin this shit on me. 2 hour delays are kinda rare though. They only happened 3 times this month. 30 min delays are common and occur once every six orders.
Again Uber eats drivers and CC customers don't get pissy with me, so I'm assuming they're used to it.
I placed 2 orders in recent weeks and had no problems.
Speaking from experience at my store. Uber eats drivers rarely get pissed at me for being 30 mins late sometimes, so I assume it's standard.
Can you like hurry up with my order already.
Thanks for that. I was quite disappointed with my Coles online order, due to the things you've mentioned (e.g. they gave me cheesecake with use-by date of tomorrow, which is a lot for one person to go through), but hearing this makes me realise no one's really to blame, it's just the nature of the system. Hopefully things settle down after the promotions are finished.
Call Coles customer service and get a refund. You'll also get to keep the cake, which is probably still edible.
Yeah Coles Online employees have a lot more responsibility than other departments. Our department is also one of the youngest. Average age in my department is 19.
Is Coles closing down down?
Yes, next Tuesday. Best to place your order for Monday collection/delivery at the latest just to be safe.
You have not qualified for this promotion.
Code banner shown in the app but this
Are you booking pickup? Does not work for delivery.
Works for pickup, but not for delivery.
DELIVER10 for delivery
Clearly Coles is rushing to meet their EOFY KPIs
Has anyone had this work where you purchase before the start of the offer week but collect during the offer week to count towards 4-week offer?
I would like to know too
does it stack with Yello $5 off $50 spend?
it will most definitely stack. How you pay is a completely different game, if that game has its own cashback you're winning.
But make sure to order min $60 worth of stuff before discount, $50 needs to reflect on CBA's transaction.
Thanks OP! Was going to do my groceries in-store this morning but no brainer just to get $10 off online instead.
I was able to stack the generic code above ($10 off $50) with a unique code ($10 off next online shop) from a Coles "Fest" Peel & Win card I got when I placed an online order earlier in the week. Double win for $20 instant off - made on liquor purchase.
So if i apend $60.50 and use the code to grt $10 off, can i still get 3 curtis stone points, or only 2?
Unfortunately if discounted, it usually wont count toward cookware credits.
If paid instore using -$10 from Flybuys dollars however, that would be fineOnly 2 from my own experience in the past
I'm so sick of all these offers being online only. I prefer shopping in store. The problem with online both click and collect and delivery is they substitute a lot for things for things I never wanted. Overall a much better discount than the bonus points offer online however
Don't tick the box to allow substitutions!
I just placed an order for Tuesday pickup, $60.20 - $10 code = $50.20, using a linked FB that is on the 4th week next week, spend $50 min, paid using CBA card that has $5/$50 Yello offer.
Will report back after picking up to see if that would have completed the 4th week.
If an item is not available, or weighs less than expected, and your invoice is $49, you miss out. Need the hassle of phoning them, or shop again.
I made sure to buy stuff with good stock count, such as Coke 24pk, Coles branded Foaming handwash refill and GF choc cookie
I had this happen and called up Coles, they were understanding and still provided the bonus points as 'goodwill' YMMV
UPDATE: Despite what T&C says that qualified order means "…ordered and delivered or collected within each qualifying week" (means have to be ordered and delivered and/or collected within Mon-Sun),
As I mentioned above I placed order on Saturday week 3, to be collected Tuesday following week (4th week) to try to qualify for wk 4 since it'll be picked up in wk 4, I have just found out that this works and my digital receipt via Coles app shows "Congratulations blablabla 10,000…"FYI.
Yup. Can confirm. Ordered for Monday collect. Competed challenge. Got points.
If I did a shop today, for a pickup collection on Monday, would it count towards Next weeks flybuys weekly spend rather than this weeks ?
