used to play on PS3, so equipment has been laying around for years…i have actually never used steam, only a casual console gamer, but recently bought RS2014 Remastered and looking at a dedicated PC build project for all the CDLC goodness.
does anyone use a SFF/USSF for this purpose - specifically wanting to know how intel onboard integrated intel GPU handles RS? (would be on an old 1080p TV) wantr chepa and simple…dont want to fork out for graphics card if not needed…
also these type office PCs only have 3.5mm jack audio out so any lag issues here that can plague RS setup?
i have a Optiplex 7060 i5-8500 i use for WFH - would be happy to get another for around $100-$150 just for RS if it can happily do 1080p video and audio output with no latency/lag issues…
any advice is welcome, rock on \m/
If this is the game that you're trying to run then I think anything modern made in the last 4-5 years can run it.
The Intel UHD 630 found in the Core i5 9500 for example is much better than the 8600GT by a country mile.
The Alder-Lake based mini PCs with N150 (Intel UHD 730) will also comfortably run old games too.
