Low price on this 2TB M.2 2230 sized SSD for those who are looking to upgrade storage in handhelds like the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally (Original, not X), Lenovo Legion Go and similar. It's a good option for a small portable SSD in an M.2 2230 enclosure too. For even bigger savings stack with 13% cashback at TopCashback and a further 8% back as credit in the AliExpress cashback promotion by joining Team OzBargain.

This works with other devices that only accept 2230 sized SSDs including Surface Pro 9, X, Surface Laptop 3, 4, Laptop Go and more. Since this is a Gen4 SSD you shouldn't use it with the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro 7+ due to stability issues. Both of these have no issues with Gen3 SSDs.

Featuring a sequential read up to 5150 MB/s, sequential write up to 4850 MB/s and uses Toshiba BiCS5 112l or SanDisk TLC flash. Unfortunately 2230 sized SSDs don't have DRAM cache, but this one uses pSLC cache and HMB to make up for it so it's perfectly fine for gaming. Especially when a lot of other similar SSDs are QLC.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

I bought this exact 2TB to max out storage for my surface pro 8, and it kept restarting randomly due to the higher power draw. I only fixed it by doing 2x regedit hacks to activate extra power management settings in win11. If it happens to you, you can Google what to change. Hope that helps!

I've put the warnings about the Surface Pro 8 and 9 in every deal due to the random restarts. It's good to know someone came up with a solution in the end.

  • Will there ever be a 2TB M.2 pcie 4.0 2280 TLC Dram at $150 ever again lol

Doing some great work this AliExpress sale, as always, @Clear!

    Love your work…

I've had very little time to search for deals this sale unfortunately. Hopefully I can squeeze some Reolink discounts out of Ali.

      • You’re still had some great wins - this one and the AOOSTAR deals were ball-tearingly good deals - thanks.

Reolink pricing this sale has been weird. There were some great deals on cams and doorbells last night. The Trackmix briefly got down to under $US80 and I grabbed a Duo 2V (new dome version of the Duo 2) for just US$55 (AU$84) which is half what they’re listed for on the Reolink site. Unfortunately, like many of the other current deals, it was very short listed with prices fluctuating and they disappeared before I had a chance to post it. For anyone looking, it’s not posted under its model name, but search “Reolink 8MP 16MP PoE IP Camera IK10 Vandal-Proof Security Camera Dual-lens” in case pricing reverts again.

If you have any joy with NVR prices, I’ll likely just ride your coattails and post a few cam deals in your thread, since most deals aren’t lasting long enough to justify a post of their own. Good luck!

        • The duo 2v sounds interesting. Let us know how you find it.

    Great deal
    Thanks

However keep getting an error at checkout " this item is undeliverable to the address you have selected"

    Any thoughts?

That’s symptomatic of when they run out of the original allocation and sales revert to a secondary distribution. The 1tb is still resolving fine, so hopefully the 2tb will replenish soon and you’ll get a chance to nab one. Keep checking…

      • Thanks dude. Error with the 2TB

        Will keep checking

      Same error. Sydney.

2TB: "This item is no longer available. It's sold out or the store discontinued selling it. If added to your cart you can still view it under the "Expired items" section. " :(:(:(:(

    • Finally worked. Thanks OP!

  • Just letting everyone know the deal is back !

Picked one up for $150 shipped
