  • Any TopCashback to go with this?

    • +13

Convince TechFast to join the affiliate space and we'll gladly onboard them :)

      • +1

        @luketechfast do it for OzBargain.

      • ripper deal from our friends at TechFast

Probably easier for you to convince your friends to come on board with cashback than some random OzBargainer.

I can imagine a code one day for a threadripper system being along the lines of “ARSERIPPER” or “RIPPERARSE”

  • Can you guys do a BYO GPU Build with a AMD9800X3D?

    • +2

We've looked into and done some BYO GPU builds before and unfortunately we're pursuing that any longer - it can get complicated.

      • ok thanks for the info

    $3000 for a defective CPU?

    • +1

      why is it defective?

      • +1

Microcode issues that severely degrade the CPU over its life.

  • @luketechfast, do you offer dual GPU setups

  • +1

    I appreciate tight arse

    • You speak for all of us.

  • Haha nice arse.

  • Did TA relocate to another company?

  • @luketechfast bloody hell this is tempting, just wondering when you issue tax invoice - is it on order being placed on the website or only once it is shipped? If the latter I assume it won't ship before 30 June? would be buying and claiming instant asset write off for my business if the former.

    • I messaged Luke a few days ago with the exact same question, this was his response: 'Hi mate, yes it's instant transaction wise and delivery would be the general 10-15 business day timeframe.'

Having said that, I ended up getting the Nebula 5080 deal as it had the better CPU.

      • Thanks Hurg although that doesn't really answer my question - most of these operators will only send the GST invoice once the item actually ships (although I guess then the important issue is the date on the invoice itself, not the date the invoice is generated).

Not sure why I'm getting negged - envious PAYG employee perhaps.

        • Yeah no idea why you're being negged. I actually emailed Techfast support (but Luke got back to me quicker so I just quoted that message). The email from Techfast read

'Hi there we take payment and you get an invoice when the order is placed so should be no issue for you to claim this year.

          Kind Regards,

          Aaron
          Customer Service'

I actually think I need to chase up Nebula over this as, even though they took my money, I can't see an invoice anywhere.

      • Hi, Hurg,
Does Nebula issue tax invoice when placing order?

        • +1

No. I asked them and this was their response:

'We will send you the invoice once the PC is ready for despatch.'

I then asked: 'What will the date be on the invoice? This is an EOFY purchase so it needs to be dated this financial year.'

And they replied: 'It will be the date when you purchased the PC.'

          Hope that helps

  • individual componets has waranty itself or everything is only 1 year?

    • +2

Individual parts have the balance of their manufacturer warranty applicable after our system warranty expires. We can assist with any warranty claims after our system warranty expires as we are the point of contact between customer and component brand, as the PC maker who sold it.
