Just to preface: This is not the best general GaN charger out there. There are ones with more ports and don't need an adapter to plug into an Australian outlet (although in this deal an AU adapter is included). This is a charger best suited if you have a Lenovo Legion or Yoga laptop from the past 2-3 years that supports 20V 7A USB-C charging. I just thought I'd post this since there have been a few deals for Lenovo LOQ and Legion laptops.

Most 140W GaN chargers support 28V/5A charging which is the PD 3.1 spec. Lenovo annoyingly designs its laptops to use 20V/7A instead, which is not supported by most non-Lenovo chargers. Trying to game on my Legion on an generic third party USB-C brick is painful. The GPU throttles itself to 30W, constantly stutters, is completely unplayable and you're better off on battery power. With this brick, my Legion can run its RTX 4060 at its full power (75W) and still hold a charge. All while being a quarter of the weight of the massive brick that shipped with my laptop originally.

Supports:
Six fixed PDOs of 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V3A, 20V5A, and 20V7A. That last configuration is where the 140W rate is derived from.

tldr; If you have a Lenovo gaming laptop and regularly move around with it, this is worth a look.

Got the 170w one. Great for travelling. The 230w brick is massive to take on planes. This solves that issue

  • CN plug is an issue, although it can be solved with an AU plug, but the weight of the charger will offen cause the charger to come off the switchboard. Also, how sure are you it's a genuine lenovo

  • Bought this a few weeks back. Seems great.

Supports lenovo's non standard 140w charging at 20v 7a. Which is great, because typically lenovo sells the OEM 140w for $150+ new

It comes with a cable, but if you ever need another, it's a pain to find a compatible one

  • Lenovo taking a leaf out of Apple's anti-consumer playbook.

Surely by now we would have programmable power supplies to get around this shite

    • CMIIW but from the description it seems to be a typical 140W PD charger (that supports PPS 3.0).
It just has an oddball 20V7A PDO (but can also do the typical 28V5A for 140W).

Would be nice if someone with it can test it!
