A 5060 have 8gb is borderline fine. A 5070 having the same amount is just waste of a good processor.

Not sure pasting the same link helps increase the memory size on the gpu…

He said 5060 was borderline fine, so I replied with a link to a 5060 deal for cheaper, then updated the original post, it wasn’t in the deal before his comment, other than that no idea what you’re talking about 🤷‍♂️

@RogueWolf: I get that sometimes it can be hard to work out exactly what the issue is that people are talking about.

But if you read Knightchampion's comment properly, you will see he is commenting about the 8Gb of RAM on the 5060 GPU and making the assertion that a 5070 also with only 8Gb is a waste of a 5070.
Now, you can agree (many people do) or disagree (some might in particular use case scenarios), but just posting another link to yet another 8Gb RAM GPU does not really respond to his concern.

And it is certainly not worth saying that he has "no idea" what he is talking about.

            • @clintdb: Without going back n forth I’ll take your point, but my 2nd reply was to ozcheap not knight, that’s why I said other than that no idea what you’re talking about

              • @RogueWolf: Fair enough - looks like I can take some of my own advice to read a comment properly (or at least the thread properly to see exactly what the comment relates to) :-)

                • @clintdb: all good, it didnt link the name so easy to confuse

Damnit if this had OLED as well I'd be all over it, still good deal in current market though

  • I love how new gen Laptops are still equiping older CPU's with known degradation issues…

Source on this? Don't think it was ever proven to affect laptops, let alone mid-range i7.
