    Out of stock online.

Out of stock all stores near me.

Out of patience with these sorts of no-stock posts.

The Samsung / Panasonics are around the same price… Wouldn't touch it.

  • It was $698 in Bing Lee a couple of weeks ago.

As for not touching it, the LG active 3D is among the best at the moment.

The 3D may be good but the picture quality is no where near as good as the Samsung/Panasonics (I was had a look at them today) and probably won't be as reliable

      • I have a pretty new 50" panasonic and this LG. There's nothing in it as far as picture quality for me. I do prefer the Pana's controller and menus though.
As for reliability who can tell? I've had problems with LG in the past with stuff but I'm sure others have had problems with Panasonic too.

Picture quality is rubbish compared to Pana / Samsung. Pay the extra or go without the trimmings.

      • Maybe the ST or above Panas but not this years 51" Samsungs

I just got one of these from binglee online delivered to my front door for $699 and if they dont have it listed online (store) then call them and they will get one in from one of their stores and send it to you with the fastest delivery ive ever experienced! Perfect condition too…

PS These are SMART TV so are basicly a computer inside so i added from MSY the HYUNDI wireless keyboard and mouse (it comes with a micro USB transmitter) so you can surf the net (and use the TV like a remote) with the kbd/ms - Its awesome!

Plus iview, sbs online ect… these TVs are great…!!!!

    • what about the fine print "LG browser does not support flash 10 or html5 so some sites may not work" ? Doesn't that interrupt your browsing experience ?

I've got no idea how common these are, its a genuine question, not trying to troll ?

      • yeah it does suck not having updated flash and it really does ruin web surfing on the TV.

They have a Facebook app that is just plain crap and a youtube app that works but is not as good as the website itself.

        ozbargain.com works great though. ;D

  • Sony KDL40EX650 for $538, is that good price? Would that going lower if I wait a bit?

Most sites render, since iOS most sites to non flash video so it's not a problem for casual browsing. Even most adult sites play (tested for thoroughness sake) so I figure for my dad it's awesome. I can now show him how to use the net for casual stuff. The apps are awesome for TV viewing, everything works with either of the 2 included remotes (one OS a magic remote) or use the mouse. Just FYI turn off the power saving stuff, it makes the TV look crap, colours look like they have been sifted through muddy tea leaves. But when off they render as good as any TV I've looked at.

I love it, be warned no drives over 2gb will detect… Just order a WD Live Streaming and plug in for about $120
