I don't expect to be explained what the Royal Easter Show is. I don't expect to be told that a deal for the F1 Austrian GP is car racing. If I didn't know what those things are I would click on the link and find out myself. I don't expect people posting deals to be responsible for educating me.

They had 50% off tickets a few day ago but I missed the email as it went straight to my spam folder.
For 11 months of the year I am like I'm going to go this/next year then once it's here I loose all interest. I signed up to their email newsletter and got offered 50% off ticket/s. But looked and went what exactly do you do there as a adult with no kids? The car park at Chermside shopping centre looks bigger where did it all go? PainToad seems to have explained it.
I was looking at competitions and displays. Some of them are like a single person won 1st and 2nd prize. I thought maybe I should enter my pet lorikeet Salsa in the lorikeet category I would win at worst 3rd place.
Is it just a place to buy overpriced Showbags or is there more to it that I am missing?

Shame the Ekka is garbage now.
As a kid in the 90s it was one of my favourite times of the year.
But nowadays most of the showgrounds have been knocked down to turn into units. It’s an empty shell of its former self.
