Closest to 'free' that you can generally get these days!
Likely going to pay more in parking at PCC than you would pay for the ticket cost!

Yeah theirs are more personalised when they send the link
At least this is a bit cheaper than It's On The House
From memory the SFF was cheaper, just the heads up.
BTW I took my own tasting glass so I didn’t have to buy yet another one.
Can we take any glass or does it have to at least look like a wine glass? So maybe disposable coffee cups or would that not be allowed? And can they insist you buy their glass and if so how much does it cost. Reason I ask about disposable is that ideally, I wouldn't want to be carrying a glass all through the show.
@ozwolf: I have a plastic “glass” that looks like a stemless Riedel glass with an indent for a finger or thumb. Easier to grip. The “glass” fits well in my bag so they usually don’t even see it as I go in. None of the wineries has ever objected to me getting a taster in it. The show taster glass costs $10 but you can keep it.
In the good old days the shows sold Riedel red wine glasses for $10 a pop so we used to be a new pair per show. Now you just get the small standard taster glasses. At home I use them to drink Muscat and not much else.

Thanks so much for all the info. That was very useful. And thanks for replying to my backpack query too below. Many thanks.
Anybody know how long usually until tickets are sent? I booked over the weekend and yet to receive them.
The email says you should receive them closer to the date
Yeah I saw that, but I have a 2 for 1 offer that ends 4th July and I don't want to wait too long and then have to pay full price.
Honestly its a marketing event, really the entry shouldnt be $45 each.
But my partner just has to go every year to see Miguel😒
Thanks for the quick response anyway 👍
Hi @spackbace any restrictions on carrying backpacks for the show?
No idea, I'm not a rep
@spackbace: ok cool, thanks for the deal anyway. If you have any idea about query about cups / glass that I posted above, then please let me know. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I think you should be fine with a backpack. They had no objection to my crumpler sling bag. You can even buy an “old Asian lady” shopping trolley there if you get too much stuff.
Have you received your tickets yet? I'm still waiting.
Got mine this morning
Went to the Syd one, worth it for $12 for two.
Agreed, the partner and I thought it was a fun experience to taste all the wines, cheeses and other bits and bobs.
Don't forget 3hrs free parking at His Majesty's Car Park, 377 Murray Street, Perth.
Are the food and wine tastings included / free or is one often paying every and each time per taste item?
Most things are free. There was a lot of wine and spirits this year. Personally I get the entrance cost value in the cheese tasting area.
This is by far the best of the "food festivals" around in my opinion. Its more of a "buy produce to take away" event rather than a "buy food to eat at the show" event (although last time they had that too). So most places give out free samples (especially alcohol) and I have definitely got a bit too tipsy off their free samples in the past 😆
WA OZB eat and drink hookup
I went down that pathway for Melbourne. I then got another offer from Showfilmsfirst so it might be worth checking them as well.
