  • I didn’t know you could stack Mytoyota with Woolies for a total of 12 cents off. I thought you could only use one or the other.

It depends on which Ampol it is. If you also have the My NRMA app you can see which one allows double stacking.

    • +5

Ampol Foodary service stations previously did not allow stacking of the Woolworths fuel discount and the MyToyota discount, but it started being allowed around late September 2024.

As @MeesusEff has already pointed out though, this will only work instore at Ampol Foodary service stations that accept the Woolworths fuel discount (which is only around 1/3 of Ampol Foodary service stations across Australia). If you do not have the My NRMA app, you can see these service stations on the Ampol website or via the Locator tab on the Ampol app (ensuring the Woolworths fuel discounts filter is enabled).

Stacking the Woolworths fuel discount and the My Toyota fuel discount will also not work at other types of Ampol service stations (e.g. EG Ampol, which is separately operated by an Ampol franchisee and does not have an agreement with Toyota to honour any fuel discounts for My Toyota app users).

What do you need to join?

Do they check that you actually own a Toyota?

    • A toyota VIN thats probably not older than 15 - 20 years

      • You can get those from a Toyota car yard

        • Feel free to then…?

          • @MeesusEff: Will it work though? or do they check the ownership?

            • +1

@jv: They don't. If nobody claimed this VIN previously in the app, it will work. Tested.

              • @alpln: Thanks

This should be posted as a hack then?

            • +1

@jv: Nope, got my car from my brother, not even registered under my name

              • @MeesusEff: Cool…

Might stop by the local Toyota car yard this weekend and see which ones have the hoods up…

                • +1

@jv: Just go to a toyota dealer website. Plenty of VINs up there of brand new ones which are guaranteed to be not used by anyone for this purpose

      • 2006 VIN worked for me.

        • 2006

          That was a good VINtage.

Car rental places are excellent for VIN sourcing. In Qld, just enter the registration number in Check Registration Status, grab the VIN, and away you go. My old 100 series is now a 2023 Corolla Hybrid, courtesy of Hertz.

  • I've sold my Toyota but luckily the account is still accessible.

  • Ah heck. I just filled the entire tank last night.

    • But Tuesday is cheap fuel day!

      • for all states?

        • Oh, good point lol. Well it definitely is in WA, i dont follow other states

      • Here in Melbourne we're at the end of the cycle and prices are shooting up, have been for a week

  • what about EG AMPOL

  • This doesn't work with my VIN.

  • +1

Pretty bummed to learn that my '95 Supra doesn't qualify.

    • Anyone in the family have a toyota? I usually share my code if im not pumping the week

    • Doesn't seem to work on JDM cars.

  • Has anyone triple stacked?
    10c/L for Ampol Energy
    8c/L for Toyota
    4c/L for Woolworths?

  • Thanks OP!

  • Thanks forthe heads up! Hopefully coffee deal soon too…

Issue is Ampol Foodary's Toyota scanner is always not working…. Unbelievable…

  • Ample Cockburn

That's exactly what I feel when refuelling with these expensive guys. With the nsw fuel check, independents continue to beat them all the time.

  • "cheap fuel Tuesday" good one haha

    • It is in WA where there is a weekly fuel cycle.
