  • Dammit, I was looking for an external drive for me ultrabook! I was hoping for USB powered!

    • 2TB USB powered external HDD? Good luck!

    • just take the drive out tape it to the bottom of your laptop and use extension cables to connect it, just don't expect much battery life and your psu could possibly blow but hey you'll have a 2TB capacity!!!

  • Thanks, I needed an external drive to backup our photos. Picked one up from OW Bankstown, was still marked $149 on the shelf, scan was showing $97.

Perfect timing. OW Windsor in Brisbane still have them ticketed at $250 (or whatever full price is) but scanned at $97.

This will be the backup for my backup - can never be too careful when it comes to irreplaceable files.

  • I sent a faulty drive in to Buffalo last year; I sent it in june, and it arrived in december.

    • I had issue with Buffalo ext drive right just after warranty has run out. Last only a year, lost all files. I personally don't buy Buffalo anymore.
