    Has anyone ever been saved from lightning strike by a surge board sacrificing itself? I've got them all over the place but I still pull everything out when the lightning gets close.

      If you have one of these boards, why not just leave it connected and get your old item replaced if it blows up. Great if you want a free upgrade on your old computer.

      Don't know why someone negged you, legit question. Anyways you raise a valid point; I'm the same as you.. I would rather keep my stuff in tact than go through the hassle of getting stuff replaced by an insurance company.

      Edit: Handy if you're not at home I guess too

    Saw it this morning but did not post it because I think the shipping is a killer and you can't click & collect as the deal is for online only.
    Panasonic phone is $30 delivered to Melbourne.
    OP might want to put + shipping & online only in title.
